I always suspected they intentionally made ugly armor sets for the grind with the hope that it would drive people towards buying the cooler looking sets on eververse.
I’d be completely okay with them selling desirable sets on there if they would at least make decent looking gear for the loot. This just disgusts me.

See here's the thing. If you make an accusation you need to support it. Not just say "oh it's somewhere online... go look for it". Meet me in the middle. What search terms would you suggest to find "confirmed" evidence?

Not so much. Did you actually find some confirmation or just claimed an unsubstantiated rumor as a fact? One guy's supposed interview with an undisclosed ex-employee isn't proof of anything. I'm not saying that it's not true, just that calling it a confirmed fact isn't justified. Assumptions like that make realistic discussions difficult.
