1st credit where credit is due to Cheese Forever for pointing this out. I added the link. This is a quote from the 9/4 TWID
We’re creating a more consistent Power reward experience for the upper Power climb.
From 500 to 550 Power, earn an A or A+ grade to get +1 Power on your activity completion rewards.
This change will also be in effect for A grades in the 400-450 Power range when Renegades launches.
Note that with the launch of Ash & Iron, the Power climb from 400 to 500 will be naturally accelerated by the Power cap increasing to 550.
Here is the "FIX" from the 9/11 TWID that went live last night around 10pm ET
Live Update Reward Adjustment
Platinum (450-500 power)
A+ grades now grant +2 power
A grades now grant +2 power
B+ grades now grant +1 power
B grades now grant +1 power
C+ grades now grant gear at your power level
So then here is my question for everyone and more specifically Bungie, What does "Naturally Accelerated" mean to you guys? What naturally accelerated means to me personally it means +3 until 500 NOT +2. I need to know is it ME? Did I somehow misinterpret what naturally accelerated means?

There should be NO grades. Did you complete the activity, yes, here is your reward. It should not matter speed, dps, kills, yada, yada, yada. None of that is fun or engaging. It does not make players more interested in or attracted to playing this game. If you can complete the activity, you should be golden!

9 通の返信Should be +1 at C and +5 at A, there's no reason to reach A+ if the increase is the same

3 通の返信All Bungie does is lie, steal other people’s material, and suck at developing a game at this point.

No idea, all i know is that im 410 with a lot of 411 gear pieces and im getting 411 from B+ GM reclaim missions, which to me feel like BS, especially when the 411 pieces that drop just happen to be for the gear thats already 411.

I love the cheese dude but the grind is literally easier. I just posted somewhere else about how 445-460+ was faster than 440-445. We are complaining just to complain at this point. It’s definitely easier to level, even at the higher scale.

10 通の返信Yeah you got it right if you're not the hard cap everything should be plus 3 in the portal. Primes should be plus 1. Then when you get close to 500 power drops should decrease in power as plus 2. Just remember thats how the system was when edge of fate dropped..

Naturally accelerated would suggest it's faster without any other changes. So I would assume they are suggesting it's an automatic update following the power update... so it will be faster than the previous 400-450 power climb, because it's now the equivalent of the 300-400 power climb. Although, feels slower to me!

If naturally players get +4 drops from 200 -300 light, then +3 drops from 300-400 Then following that pattern... 400 -500 would be +2.

2 通の返信123TheCloopにより編集済み: 9/12/2025 9:14:42 PMI get what you are saying but the wording is self explanatory, dont get me wrong I hate bungie rn and what they are doing but there wording (while vague) still highlights at best a +2 progression. Ill explain it further here: There quote: "From 500 to 550 Power, earn an A or A+ grade to get +1 Power on your activity completion rewards. This change will also be in effect for A grades in the 400-450 Power range when Renegades launches. Note that with the launch of Ash & Iron, the Power climb from 400 to 500 will be naturally accelerated by the Power cap increasing to 550." The actual quote snippet that I am explaining: "From 500 to 550 Power, earn an A or A+ grade to get +1 Power on your activity completion rewards." So that much is all but confirmed to be a +1 to your given drops so Now the next bit gets a little word mumbled They state "This change will also be in effect for A grades in the 400-450 Power range when Renegades launches." Now to me this is very much in relation to the above quote so again a +1 to drops but because 400-450 is no longer the cap (500-550 is) that +1 now becomes +2 because its +1 on top of what you "would" have experienced in the previous power envelope. Do correct me if I am wrong on that assumption The last bit all but confirms my 2nd quote and what It implies with when they say "Note that with the launch of Ash & Iron, the Power climb from 400 to 500 will be naturally accelerated by the Power cap increasing to 550." Now to me they do not imply +3 drops and if we assume from what was stated in the 2nd part of the power progression quote, nothing really indicates a +3 to drops when you hit the 400-500 grind. To me its just reaffirming the 2nd part of the quote which DOES imply only +2 drops (not +3 drops) Again if someone wants to correct me by all means, but nothing in that above quote implies +3 drops, it simply implies an extra +1 to your given progression because 550 is now the cap vs the original 450 cap where 400-450 was +1 anyway (dont recall it being +2 drops) So if given rewards were only ever +1 when you hit the 400 band, them stating a +1 to drops is simply 1+1 = +2 to drops. I really cannot conjure up where +3 is mentioned here (unless I am misremembering the drops being +1 and were in fact +2 all along)

With Bungie, it can mean about 5 things: For e.g. - we're listening! (Not) We hear you! (While listening to Mr. Salt) We agree (actually we dont) We know we're a bunch of dipstick donkey duck diapers! We're responsible for the biggest video game catastrophe in history but wont admit it! Etc. To us, it means one thing... progressing level ups well.
