No it's impossible to prove it as you don't speak for anyone but yourself. Seeing EOF has an extremely low player count should tell you all you need to know on how the game is travelling.

What percentage of those players are vocal on social media about the game? What percentage of those vocal have negative feelings? Even if 20% of the players are vocal on social media and 90% of those vocal are not happy then how does that equate to a majority?

They were rhetorical, you don't know the player count, how many of those are vocal and how many of vocal are negative. So saying most players this or that is nonsensical.
