Weapon Crafting has been scaled back of late, but not removed from the game entirely. From what has been expressed by the devs it appears as though no additional Legendary Weapons will be made available for Crafting moving forward, however it is possible that future Exotic Weapons obtained from Seasonal Quests may continue to feature unlockable/craftable Intrinsic properties and Perks. As you largely missed out on Crafting here are some important notes: • You must [u]unlock[/u] the ability to Craft Weapons, you cannot do so by default. To do this you will need to complete the first Mission of the Witch Queen Campaign ([b]Arrival[/b]) which can be done without having to purchase the full DLC. You will then gain access to the [b]Enclave[/b] and will be able to obtain a Quest that walks you through unlocking the Patterns for and then Crafting two Legendary Weapons; this Quest can be obtained from the Relic Conduit. • There are a limited number of Weapons that are available for Crafting. You can find the full list of Craftable Weapons by either selecting the [b]Shape[/b] option while interacting with the Relic at the Enclave, or by checking the [b]Patterns and Catalysts[/b] section of your Collections tab. • Most Craftable Legendary Weapons cannot be Crafted until you have extracted between 3 and 5 Patterns from them. The exact number of Patterns required and how many you have extracted for a given Weapon thus far can be found in the [b]Patterns and Catalysts[/b] section of your Collections tab. • You can only extract the Pattern from a given copy of a Weapon a [b]single time[/b], regardless of whether it naturally dropped with a Red Border or you used a [b]Deepsight Harmonizer[/b]. • Sources to earn [b]Deepsight Harmonizers[/b] are currently few and far between, but are not [i]entirely[/i] absent from the game. They might show up as purchasable rewards in exchange for [b]Event Tokens[/b] (earned by completing Daily and Weekly Challenges during special Events such as [b]Solstice[/b]). In addition there will soon be a way to purchase [b]Deepsight Harmonizers[/b] using a new currency called [b]Chronologs[/b] (the explanation behind this is fairly lengthy, so I would direct you to read the TWID posted on August 21st under the section titled [b]Get Rewards From Past Seasons[/b] to get more information). • When initially Crafting a Legendary Weapon you will have limited choices as to which Barrels, Magazines and Perks you can select. You will need to level up a given Weapon to unlock the full suite of options available, which can be done by scoring kills with the Weapon, completing Activities with it equipped or dumping resources into it using the [b]Increase Weapon Level[/b] displayed in the item’s inspection screen. For Craftable Exotic Weapons you will often need to unlock access to the Intrinsic, Barrel, Magazine, Stock, and Catalyst options by completing specific objectives in the respective Exotic Missions from which they are earned. • [b]Reshaping[/b] a Weapon to apply Enhanced Perks will cost a special Crafting Resource called [b]Resonant Alloy[/b]. There are few means by which to earn them these days, however the two sources listed for [b]Deepsight Harmonizers[/b] also apply to these items. [b]Resonant Alloys[/b] can also be purchased from Rahool via his [b]Materials Exchange[/b] option. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
