If you play multiple characters, you're already burning through materials leveling up / masterworking gear. Another limiting factor for infusion is needing gear that is a higher level so that controls how high you can go, but cores & total drops control how many pieces you can get close to your max seasonal power. When everything will be reduced to 200 to start next season why do we need a currency to regulate this during the season?

I remember when they told us the currency system was overcomplicated and they were going to "simplify the system", there'd be no more gathering resources in the wild, Rahool would eventually phase the currencies out... They're all still there. I have Exotic Cyphers still sitting on Xur that I can't collect because there's nothing to spend them on. Same with my stack of Ascendant Shards and the other currencies from previous seasons that you can only delete one at a time instead of the entire stack...so I just never bothered. It's just so bizarre. They tell us they're going to do something, but it doesn't seem to get fully implemented, or they breezily just try and reinvent the wheel again.

FingersXedにより編集済み: 8/29/2025 8:09:00 AMI also thought it would be a nightmare at first, now I'm sitting at over [edit] 600.000 with all chars having at least one set of T5 gear [edit] upgraded and masterworked. Ascendant Shards and Enhancement Prisms are a bigger problem imo. I ran out of those quite a few times, whilst leaving possibly 100s of them behind because they have stupidly low caps and don't get sent to the postmaster anymore.

3 通の返信YES! Remember when we got crafting, with a ton of itens, wich was scrapped some time before. We don't need another currency. Upgrade modules also sucked. Make the upgrade cost glimmer, and thats all.

1 返信They do this -blam!- all the time. Introduce a bunch of new currencies. Then remove them while claiming it was a bad decision to have so many. Repeat since 2014.

nonchalantoneにより編集済み: 8/28/2025 5:48:16 AMThey are. They do as they always do ...add meaningless things in the game, and sell it as "content". A few visual changes here, and there ...then sell it for $100. Just like going to the tower to decrypt "prime" engrams in the next update. All one big way to make us sink time into the game. Just shameful at this point. Talking about nostalgia and excitement when opening an engram. All BS.

Bungie have decided they don't want to give anyone even an inch ...

6 通の返信Its not even the currency, diablo has tons of currencies used for upgrading . The real issue is how exorbitant the amount is when you jump up even 5 or six levels and how few items we get. In other rpg style games you get mats for killing ads, bosses, looting, mining/gathering, breaking down armor . Bungie seems absolutely terrified to give us more rewarding activities. We need more gear to drop, mats, and currency.
