At your light if you do well and get a b+ reward grade you will get a +3 drop.
Don't play well and get B grade or below then it will be lower.
However, if you only play crucible why complain about leveling up when light level doesn't matter in crucible?

Ok so is it called light level? I thought it was called power level. That's a good point, since they down level us anyway, however what happens with the other perks players get that have the 5 star armor like damage resistance? In regards to doing well I'll pay more attention to that but I'm pretty sure getting B+ still isn't getting me a minimum of 3 points. I'll get back to you on that. Thanks.

Thanks.[/quote] Light level, power level.... same thing. All new armour provides some damage resistance in PvE. With tier 5 and featured exotic armour giving the most.

BTW, I checked out what my leveling was doing. I usually get B+ and most times would not get +3 weapon or armor. AND if I got an A it was worse! Just had an A and it gave me one thing +1. It's just not consistent. I may have phrased it wrong also with leveling up by power level. Im trying to get the better armor for the damage resistance and extra perks you get with it. I'm stilling crawling along and they keep giving me 5 star in the same spots ,like 3 energy weapons and 2 leg pieces when, of course, that's my exotic armor spot🤷 but I'll admit I'm having fun anyway. I'm also enjoying wicked implement. It's getting the range so yes I agree with you, I think it is better!

They are random drops. Yes wicked implement since it's change feels better than it was before. Having fun is the most important thing. Leveling will change to how it is now when ash and iron update starts in a few hours. The last 50 light won't be dependant on rng prime drops as it is now. Edit: pretty sure when we last spoke you were below 400 light, then you should have been getting higher stuff with B+ and A grade scores. After 400 which you are now, most drops will be at your level unless it's a prime.
