As long as they don’t touch the lighting surge build I’m fine.
I’m all for adding more build option but don’t kill the only viable mellow wizard build. Plus I don’t know who at Bungie did the test but in harder content you won’t one tap a champion. Even with syntho, shield crush and facet of courage.

I'd be okay with Lightning Surge hitting harder. My Titan can take down Champions and still have melee energy to spare, Lightning Surge just doesn't chunk the same way. It's one of my favorite builds in the game, but, at least with Felwinter's Helm, it doesn't seem to do enough damage to be viable in higher level content. Disclaimer: I don't have the Prismatic Class Exotic, so I'm basically just talking about the base version.
