I'm unclear on Bugnie's plans regarding older drops, like the kind we get from Xur or from Tower vendors: Will these weapons ever get the Tiered treatment, will there be Tiered world drops again, or is the Tiered system wholly separate and apart from the legacy weapons? For my part, I'd love it if there was a way to upgrade legacy weapons into the Tier system, even if it comes at a cost. There are a lot of good weapons in the game (not to mention in my vault), and it seems like a shame to leave them out of the gameplay. We all have favorite weapons that we're just not using in this expansion; I understand encouraging us to use new weapons, but I hope it won't wholly come at the expense of the old. Some of us (admittedly not me) have spent nearly eight years building up our vaults, it would be nice if there was a way for us to upgrade the loot we've got while chasing the new.
