The portal breaks team play when grinding?
Say you are a higher power and you play with a friend who is lower power. Currently when they load a mission from the PvE playlist it won't drop Gear that's higher power for you. It only does so for your team mate.
This needs to be fixed.
We need a system that when helping a friend who is lower we still get decent drops.

That's not true. It depends on the Tier and what modifiers they choose. Other factors like the score multiplier. Full disclosure, I thought it was like you said... until this morning. I helped 2 people do some reqs for Guardain rank... they needed Match Game, No starting Ammo... and a Pinnacle. I got drops... +1 & +2s... I was 100 over both of them. This does change in Conquests and GMs (I think) because Fireteam Power shuts off. I consider myself pretty clued in, but a lot of this stuff is confusing and poorly explained. TLDR, in most content the lower powered Guardians get bumped to -5 where the highest is. Then either you host, or they do... make sure the highest person sees B+ as a projection, then everyone will get drops. Hope this helps. You'll also get tiered drops appropriate to your level and your multiplier. 😇👍💠
