before 300 it was easy. i was only like 14 under. now when i do master solo ops in order to get a b i have to be way way under leveled. i finished the mission but can only get a c. its way too hard to get a b. i have to get an a grade in fireteam ops for the sharpshooter guild but i dont know how since quickplay says b and when i put each modiferer on i keep adding to the level up under where i am like 40 under. the only way i can see around getting the a is taking someone with higher power to help me.
if you finish any activity you should be able to advance in leveling meaning at least +2 no matter how bad you perform.
i have to level now by the crucible only. its insane.
can anyone help me get a fireteam score of a in master?
this needs to change and they need to get rid of no hud. nobodys time should be wasted for finishing a misison. if you cant get b or c+ then you are stuck forever and ever.

Zero Starting Ammo in particular may seem imposing at Master level as you will be facing Champions potentially very early on in a run, however you should be able to figure out which Activities have Champions that need to be killed to remove barriers vs those which can be bypassed and select a Primary ammo weapon to specifically counter any required Champion types you may come across. As your Light Level gets closer to unlocking the next Difficulty setting you will most likely need to select additional Modifiers that increase enemy levels; provided you follow the other advice listed in this reply you should be able to afford to pick only a couple rather than having to pile them on and ending up with a 50+ level disparity. • Earning Score In Solo Ops you are primarily scored on completing the objectives required to reach Activity’s end, so clearing away all enemies/Champions is generally not necessary. During the Activity you will receive an Optional Objective (listed on the left side of the screen) which invariably boils down to kill however many enemies in a certain way; completing an Optional Objective will reward you with roughly 1/5 the total score necessary to fill the score track in the bottom right of the screen, and should not be neglected. While the Timer bonus in Solo Ops may seem like a good way to boost your score, utilizing Activity Modifiers and other Bonuses to the best of your ability can allow you to completely blow past the roughly ten minutes allotted to you and still comfortably end up with an A grade. • Other Bonuses There are two additional score multiplier bonuses available to you that will make it easier to achieve B and A grades in all Portal Activities, not just Solo Ops. Every Featured Weapon or Armor piece you have equipped will contribute to an end-of-Activity bonus multiplier. To get the maximum multiplier you will need to exclusively use Featured equipment; you can probably get away with one or two non-Featured items while still being able to comfortably earn an A, but you’ll want to avoid going in with half your slots filled with Legacy gear. If you have purchased access to the Paid Seasonal Reward Track you will also unlock an additional, stacking end-of-Activity multiplier that tops out at +15% upon reaching the Rank 89 reward. If you have bought the Paid Reward Track you will want to complete enough Weekly Challenges and Bounties to make sure you receive the full bonus. - By utilizing Player Stakes Modifiers, completing Optional Objectives and maximizing your score multipliers you should be able to earn A grades in Master Solo Ops Activities without having to put yourself at a massive Light Level disadvantage. You can easily get an A grade every time. Choose locked loadout. Choose one of the banes (i look for everything other than rage) .. use subtle foes. Use one of the other modifiers like vex spawn a pool of arc or powerful enemies drop a pool of fire etc etc just have to finish before the time limit starts deducting points.

I beat the master and beat the timer with zero modifiers added and i got a piece above my light. we shall see if i reach a roadblock. it said c+ and it bumped it to a b. me being 4 more power level made it feel a bit easier.

You can get an A grade all the time. Look up a video if you are struggling. Only thing that changed between 200 to 300 and 300 to 400 is you get +3 gear where as you were getting +4 for 200 to 300.

Both paths 200-300 & 300-400 are the exact same. Base combatants are set at 200/300/400 & the modifiers give them level power, so as YOU get higher you need to add mods to bring them above your level or it's classed as easy & doesn't reward you. You were supposed to switch to master around 275 as that's easier than running expert with 6-7 bad modifiers. It wasnt easier before, I assure you, the only difference now is master has a few champions but the seasonal guns you should have already been using, will shred those. The real grind is 400-450 which is like 6 times longer than 200-400
