I really don't understand why everyone is so bent about the new system. I'm an old and slow 53 year old and am power 357. Just for the heck of it I just did a grandmaster solo op with enemies at 410 and actually completed it.
I'm far from being a great player so if people are having issues that's on them and NOT the game
Edit: This was a reply to a "people who have lives will be 53 before they hit 400" comment
It is only like 3 hours to gain 10 power and that is with getting rewards that don't give me a power upgrade at a rate of about 1 out of 5 times AND only getting +3 power rewards since hitting 300. It was a little faster when rewards were still +5 and +4.
From 10 to 200 it is pretty fast. Most everything you get is an upgrade from almost all sources. I even got a late start on the power grind because I did the campaign solo on legendary and then on Fabled and THAT took me quite awhile.
A grade rewards in Ops are +5 power at some point they drop to +4(don't remember when). Once I hit 300 they dropped to +3 power per reward.
If you do the math and only use the current rate of 3 hours to gain 10 power that is only 45 hours to go from 200 to 350.
150 divided by 10=15
15 x 3=45
So even people who don't get as much playtime are going to hit 350 way sooner than before edge of fate when we had weekly caps on rewards that would get wasted on duplicate drops.

Nice comment. I'm a little older than you and still loving this game. I'm not finding it difficult at all. Yeah, the power grind is a little long, but we have plenty of time to get there. I would not be surprised if Bungie adjusts the power grind in the near future.

1 返信What are you doing to get to that light this fast? I spend a good amount of time playing the game and I’m just hitting 230 right now. Most people I know (even college students who play more than I do) are in the 200’s.
