Every ‘elitist’ started out as a casual but through practice and persistence got to a stage where they now have the ability to earn T5 gear. To yourself and anyone else -blam!- this reply, there is NOTHING stopping you from being able to do the same. If they can do it so can you. I’ve got a buddy who used to get annoyed at the fact that soloing a dungeon would award cosmetics such as ghost shells, emblems etc. and he would say how it’s unfair that they’re locked behind that challenge. The same guy never even pushed himself or asserted himself to see if he could even solo a dungeon in the first place. He would sit and whinge about it instead. That same mindset is what a lot of the community or at least a lot of the people in these forums apply to their gaming in Destiny. Everybody wants a free hand out, the easy route, the user friendly route, the least time commitment route and that’s why everything in the game now feels worthless. None of the loot or accolades mean anything now because as soon as Bungie try to add challenge, grind or even dare to move the needle the proverbial hits the fan and they simplify or make everything more casual. I’m glad they’re bringing the grind back to the game and I’m glad we’re actually going to be able to challenge ourselves again.
