Make them have to over deliver it exactly what happend with final shape no one was preordering and bungie got scared delayed and we got much more. EOF is not worth its price they are dialing back content yet charging beyond premium.
Forced them to delay again so they actually have to deliver content worth the price tag
They wanna use buzz words to capture your attention but it’s just pillow talk until they actually show innovation and commitment EOF is DOA

If you’re uncomfortable with the direction the franchise seems to be going, don’t have confidence in the new leadership and/or studio, don’t like the changes and sunsetting coming, not very interested in the new story, or have just been not feeling Destiny lately - just hold off or cancel your pre order until EoF has been out for a few weeks and you can read reviews and see how the new leadership is treating the game and the community. You don’t owe Bungie anything. Don’t feel pressured to pre-order if you’re uncomfortable. Everything EoF has to offer will still be there a month after 07/15 and the LFG sites and Sherpa forums will still be jammed up with people looking to play with you.

I buy it a few days before it drops so I guess that’s a preorder. I enjoy playing so it’s worth $40 for 6 months. I don’t tell people how to spend their money so I don’t agree with posts like this. If you’re not enjoying the game take a break and do something else.

I doubt Bungie will delay EoF. There's been a lot of layoffs, and Marathon is now delayed, too. But to open the eyes more at Bungie, if you are unhappy with what you've seen so far of EoF, then don't pre-order, or don't buy it at all. Bungie just look at the cashflow in. If it is constant, they will continue as they do or even try to lower the quality. If they see the cashflow is diminishing, maybe they will change in the future.

Or else what? Here's my take on why "overdelivery" is a bad idea when it comes to the mindset of modern players; once you do, you're well and truly -blam!-. Players will expect it again, and again, and again, not realizing that at some point it's simply not going to be possible anymore. Things will plateau; they have to. Whether it's because of limitations from hard/software, budgets, personnel, corporate oversight, time constraints, actor strikes, whatever the case may be, it's bound to happen. Add to it those same players expect the "overdelivery" to come at such a rapid pace because let's face it, instant gratification takes too long and they'll chew through content like a swarm of locusts. Then what, more "overdelivery" week after week? People need to temper their expectations and acknowledge that reality is a thing we're all bound by. Unless you've got a magic wand or a nifty bottle housing a djinn tucked away somewhere, then I suppose the sky's the limit.

Never pre order a game If thats just for the goodies...just pre order then cancel it. Then buy the game AFTER the release. Aka after youve seen reviews. There is zero need for you to pre order something that isnt limited. Video game keys are basically infinite.

They won't overdeliver and can't the games support got toned down due to final shape not performing well on the business side so now edge of fate has less content as it has less devs on. We are at the point where it's either quit the game or just be content with what we get and the only way that changes is if edge of fate sells epicly well.

You do realize TFS, while being considered a success by most players, still resulted in layoffs and a lot of players leaving for good? The leadership is the problem. Unfortunately, it's up to Sony to figure out a legal way to clean house without simultaneously giving them a large check. No amount of posting on here is going to change anything.

It's very simple. If you know you'll play, pre-order and do what you like. If you are unhappy with the direction bubgie is going, then yea, I recommend you guys find another game. Besides, theres so many games coming out. As a gamer who plays multiple games, I only pre-order/buy games, i know im gonna play. For ex. ILL, Cronos: the new dawn, borderlands 4 and yes, EoF. Because I know I'll be on it. Im very picky with what I buy/pre-order. I think destiny 2 is pretty much over, they are just milking it and making content for those streamers and ppl that just love gambling. At least the team that's there now, doesn't seem to care much. So just move on and anyone else that feel like their time isn't being respected, just save yourself from all the stress and move on. Remember, gaming suppose to be fun and a way to get away from shii and just have fun, if your not then get another game

Mark, Scholar of Starsにより編集済み: 6/24/2025 4:33:21 PMTo each their own. I'm skeptical. But I wouldn't make a call regarding the player's financial policy. I wish them fun! The only reason to continue with it would be the people I befriended over the years in this game. People who care about others. That would be the only reason. Edit: I doubt that there will be a delay for this DLC this time. Because it's the only content Bungie can release right now, even if it would be for the greater good of Destiny 2. However, they announced smaller packages and less additional content in general. There isn't much room to expand if they want to keep that size, except for polishing. What I don't like is that I have to go after new gear every six months. The rest of it sounds interesting. Nevertheless, to each their own. Always.

Why would you pre-order anything, especially a video game and especially now? The amount of game releases these days that need constant patching to fix the rushed out mess thats a so called "finished product" is insane. Imagine buying ANY OTHER THING pre-ordered and having the issues video games have. Do you think the company that sold it would last very long? Yeah, I doubt it. Some people got rocks in their head. If FOMO Gunna bite you that hard, I got a bridge for sale you might be interested in. .

This is why I've always waited for them to go on sale a month after release, all I'm really missing out on in contest mode for the raid and I couldn't careless anymore for those after FS nothing is going to top that experience so I'll just wait for a sale then catch up since the seasons are going to be around four months long.

How do you know final shape was delayed to add much more as you claim and not simply delayed because they needed more time to make sure they released a working product?
