i doubt that it’s only console. not sure if it’s the same issue as they are writing about, but sometimes when i imbue the 3 statues ecthar just won’t spawn for a while. nothing to do with my PC specs, running 32 gigs of ram with a ryzen 9000 series cpu.

Not demanding per se but since Destiny 2 hasn't seen a real optimization for PC since 2021, the game can be quite taxing, depending on activities. It's still a DX11 game after all, CPU-bound (btw, an unrelated curiosity, is Marathon DX12 or still DX11? I haven't tried it so...).
