I've seen 1 in CoB. I've gotten 5 to 6 in expert Nether, kept 1. I have 1 4 perk, before the triple perks were live, adept shiny. I was just playing Expert Nether for fun, never expected a drop. When the season started my analysis included 2 main factors: 1. The Math - the odds by the numbers 2. History - of Bungie increasing the loot viability over the course of the season with boons and activity updates. From that analysis, my own and from other stat nerd 🤓 friends of mine, I derived the optimal method for grinding out the best rolls. Then I did it. I have 15 shinys covering the field from both activities and 1 adept shiny. It did take some investment, I just finished... for the most part, 2 days ago. I have 100s of CoB runs... all with randoms, 90% of them... 9 out of every 10 runs are 13s. CoB rng was rough... but what do you expect for a 10-15 min activity? Prioritize normal, that's the strategy. That's how I got 16 godroll shinys. The OP isn't talking about shinys though. They're want to use adept mods... they're grinding for 1 weapon probably... Division.
