The situation is still the same as before.

All you can do is wait and see if they unban you, the forums aren't reviewed by the security team and the BNGHelp accounts can't offer you any insight into why you were banned.

I shouldn’t have to appeal if the ban was erroneous as I violated nothing in the code of conduct. I shouldn’t have to appeal something I didn’t do. I paid for a service and I’m being denied said service for no reason at all that can’t be legal.

Because that's the way they are handling it. Your point of contact is the appeal form for them to look into the ban, if they lift the ban they'll tell you. If 4-6 weeks go by with no responses/ban not being lifted then they consider the ban correctly placed. BNGHelp won't put you in direct contact with anyone on the security team and will always direct you to the appeal form instead.

They cannot take away what I’ve paid for without telling me why and for what reason that’s ILLEGAL and on top of that it’s downright discourteous to its paying customers and is HORRIBLE customer service . If I can’t be put in touch with anyone then can they be told about my issue and help me ? I don’t need to have contact with anyone but my post can be brought to their attention right!?

[/quote] Bungie disagree with you, hence the ban being placed. Patch releases and events going live (like raid/dungeon launches) are a fairly common time for enforcement to happen, at the same time as weekly reset happened this week Bungie also issued a wave of forced name changes due to CoC/Name Policy violations. Fairly good chance that if they're adamant about the ban being correct their response for it will be something like '[x] software was detected and is prohibited', 'on [x] date user engaged in [y] conduct' or 'user engaged in cheating by playing with [x] player while that player was using [x] tool' followed by 'we reserve the right to remove any user from our services'. Bit of a heads up, the violations can be from years ago and/or be caused by someone else in your premade team. If for example you did a trials flawless card in a [i]premade[/i] fireteam 1+ years ago but they were toggling cheats you're also liable for a ban as you were benefitting and didn't leave - same condition applies to the other rules listed.

Actually it's not illegal. Many games do it because it's allowed and is arguably the smart thing. Don't tell someone why they got banned. Also you most likely got banned for breaking a rule long ago. I've seen people play with cheaters or win trade then years later get banned.

I've seen people play with cheaters or win trade then years later get banned.[/quote] If I violated none of the rules and I don’t play with cheaters and I only do PVE 90% of the time on Xbox where from what I understand cheating is basically impossible then they have ZERO reason to take away something I paid for without telling me why and for banning me without cause they have to have cause. I dunno what world you live in but it’s definitely illegal. It says very clearly I can be banned for violating the following and they list it out but if I did they have to tell me what I did otherwise they can do whatever they want what’s the point of the code of conduct? They won’t need to put it if they don’t have to tell you what you did and can take it away all Willy Nilly. Think about that doesn’t make sense does it? I’m either case I’ve come to the help forum for someone to help get this brought to their attention of those who can help and not to have debates about what other people feel is right or what someone else THINKS I did at the end of it I did nothing and need someone to know this so I can get my 12 years of hard work back.
