I think it's about time we replaced Battle Eye. It's one of the oldest anti cheats on the market, and they haven't updated their software in ages. It worked for about 3 months when it first got implemented into Destiny, but now there are so many ways to cheat that this isn't enough. Instead of spending millions chasing 3 guys in their moms' basement, maybe invest in a more competent anti cheat that is capable of dealing with modern cheats. Just look at the top 1000 players on trials report at minimum 50% are juiced. They don't hide the fact that they are cheating very well.
Step up, Bungie.

2 通の返信Even on bungie side its dumb.. They cant even detect that somebody has gis super at the very start if a match with infinite heavy. In other games such things are detected and you get kicked or banned if you have things you should't have. I am sure its not that hard to detect if somebody has maximum heavy and special ammo at a trial round where ammo doesnt spawn (or super in the very first seconds) This kind of things should be an INSTANT kick from the match and a ban if it happens again.

1 返信I’ve seen soo many people that aren’t even looking at me and when I shoot them they slide without moving their legs🤔

2 通の返信"At a minimum, 500 of the top 1000 players are cheating" What are you basing this claim on? I'm fully supportive of better anti-cheat, but you don't have to exaggerate to establish a problem.

Playing competitive last night and one guy was killing my team pretty well. The giveaway was I caught him off guard and had him dead to rights and somehow he fired off a shotgun and got me before I got the final hit. No shotgun sound came out and he was suddenly not in the same spot I was firing at. And I don't mean like two steps, I mean like 10 feet in the air. Reported him, probably didn't do anything. K/D was 9.22 for that game

1 返信I’ve effectively quit destiny because no matter what bungie does, the cheating is still out of control.

Step up, Bungie.[/quote] Aim assist has always been and likely will always be off the charts. That’s where people start cheating. Macros are likely the next stop and then programs . The nerf brigades are always rife with these folks. I remember when strand hunter caused all the problems. 100% of the people complaining were cheating. There is little Bungie can do about this issue without their own servers. Their product will always be at the mercy of some 400lb dude sitting in his mothers basement in adult diapers, they do not have the means to control how their product is perceived. Battle Eye and software like that are just stop gap measures with peer to peer networking. I had my hunter lose the ability to go invisible during trials and had to actually go to Ikora and get the fragment again. Might have been an exotic armor issue as I remember an issue. Cheating creates a toxic environment that impacts the quality of the product dramatically. People will blame the gun for being overtuned but the aim assist is the real culprit. I had several games where one burst would kill me from across the map. It gets to the point where just bum rushing people to take the aim assist out of the equation becomes a viable strategy. At least you get the satisfaction of a chance.

2 通の返信Cheaters keep the PVP numbers up, and Bungie needs all the help they can get with that.

SILLABYSSにより編集済み: 3/4/2025 4:29:48 AMIt's hard to tell honestly - not sure if the matchmaking is crap, the lag is intentional or they are just plain cheating... Illegal controllers are evident as well... Would love to know how so many see through walls and know exactly where I'll be even after spamming the jump before I land - crit shots every time ..

1 返信Especially in trials, in some instances it's almost comical. The first 2-3 matches the opposing team gets wiped, then suddenly buddies are landing headshot mid slide from across the map with 100 accuracy and they end up winning.

3 通の返信Cheaters will flood your post giving you tips, Learn the map, get the meta guns, etc, but all they do is using devices to cheat their way, and what pisses me off the most is that they use it on GnikcuF control, and the studio diesnt give a F.
