Hi! Loving the Nether so far, been fun seeing a revamped Dreadnaught. I like the idea of health being a resource, but I think making healing rifts nearly useless isn’t quite what was in mind. Perhaps a lessened healing speed but making them almost heal nothing seems a bit much.

13 通の返信I main a warlock. I play either solar well or devour prismatic w/ buried bloodline. This mode invalidates entire swaths of mechanics that I've had in my toolbox for years. It's unfun and I simply won't sludge through it. I can not imagine why they would breaking healing mechanics in the game. Now of all times. It's a solution in search of a problem that didn't exist. Unless the problem is how developers can make challenging content in the game they created. If this is how they intend to implement that, I'm just not interested.

Here is a perfect argument for that, does titans barricade not stop enemy fire or hunters marksman dodge not reload guns in the nether?

This entire activity is just another kick in the -blam!- by the leftiods at Bungie. It frustrating and total let down to casual players. Expect the player base to dwindle even more. The new exotic is garbage and the new activity is unfun garbage. Nice job.

1 返信This is what happens when you fire a bunch of QA. Bungie has this philosophy that they don't want "passive" gameplay. They have specifically designing strikes around how people are going to handle them in GM difficulty. Making sure there are not cheese spots and forcing engagement with the content. I guess they forgot that for this one. Forcing passive gameplay because of the 99% healing reduction is just plain bad. I almost never post here, but I couldn't get past this one. Tested all by builds, which I intentionally built for survivability, and they are all basically useless. Novel idea, but executed poorly. It really does feel like 1/3 of every classes kit is just not there. Cure 2 restoring 1% of your health while even the most basic mob bullet does 10% of your health in damage coupled with limited revives FORCES people to play passively.

The health as a resource is a stupid idea. The enemies still chunk you're health, but you can't chunk theirs. They still take just as much damage, but eith out regeneration you can't. Especially if you solo most things. This new mode is a massive flop

1 返信It would seem that only a limited number of weapons will help with healing. If going solo, it's going to be very challenging for a dedicated player but way too difficult for someone looking for FUN. Sol Invictus Titan with Precious Scars = not working either. Looks like being forced to play with teams and Crimson (UGH) or Red Death, or even worse, a Heal Clip sidearm. Just the treat we all looked forward to huh? 🤦

3 通の返信Absolutely hated my experience in the Nether! I don’t see myself finishing this activity again, and could be the third season in a row where I don’t finish the seasonal story because it’s just not engaging or entertaining. Booo this -blam!-!

2 通の返信Use Crimson now!! Before it's patched. It makes the entire activity trivial! * Your welcome....

4 通の返信Yeah, Warlocks have nothing, vs the Titan, barricade to block, and Hunter, invis. I've switched to using my Hunter, Pris with invis on elemental kill and using Riposte with destabilizing rounds, as this gives more survivability to me than a Warlock. Warlock literally can't even use well. I was only using the jump heal to get a turret, as there was no heal with it.

9 通の返信Hindering or taking from what players can normally do and are capable of is such a poor way to impose challenge. I’ll reserve judgement until I get home and can actually play it but it sounds like an unfun, exhausting chore to play.

8 通の返信Looks like almost every healing build in the nether is useless. - devour doesn't work at all - speaker's sight healing grenade barely does anything - orbs of restoration also barely moves the health bar The mobs do occasionally drop orbs of light that heal you but again, it's for almost nothing and the drop rate isn't great. I knew they were nerfing healing in this zone but this is ridiculous.

1 返信Warlock healing builds should have been a staple of this mode, instead it's completely useless, a HUGE miss.

4 通の返信My favourite part is watching other people play while you are down and out of revives . Greattttttt design choice as ever

The point was to get people to stop crutching on healing sources like they have for the past 3+ years. Restoration meta? Banner of War? Even the OG Devour metas from Shadowkeep and early Witch Queen Try Overshields and DR sources. They’re extremely strong considering we have 5x health. Plus playing more tactically and not just running in blindly.

2 通の返信Forgotten_Anarchistにより編集済み: 2/4/2025 11:43:07 PMGotta force people to use support frames some how.... Whole thing sounded disinteresting as soon as they revealed it. And revive tokens 🤢 again.... I'll only be playing it when the story puts me in it.
