Hacked account
I got hacked a couple of months ago and the hack rendered my xbox account unrecoverable I previously linked this xbox account to my cross save, since then i have begun playing destiny 2 on playstation with a whole new account, I have played a bit on this account and wanted to enable cross save to my pc and other devices however i am unable to authenticate my xbox account as the email i used for it has been completely changed and the account is innacessible this means that i cant cross save my ps account to steam or epic games as they are already linked is there anyway for my xbox to be unlinked? Or is the only option to create a new steam? I really want to have all my progress on one steam/epic account additionally these accounts have dlc's bought on them which would mean id need to repurchase all the dlcs again please help.

Hi there. Unlinking an account requires that you disable the Cross Save first by authenticating the logins of all linked accounts and then authenticate the Xbox account again to unlink it. Bungie's policy is clear that they will not forcefully unlink an account under any circumstances. If you're unable to authenticate the Xbox account, you'll need to contact Xbox Support to see if they can help you regain access. If that's unsuccessful, then unfortunately there won't be a way to alter the Cross Save.
