Destiny isn't doing great
But warframe kinda sucks lol.
Ever check their steam chart player count?
It's barely changed over a 10+ year period.
People say they're going over there, play it for 2 days then leave never to return.
Warframe is cheeks

I'm not sure I fully agree, but it is true that warframe's numbers fail to increase within a reasonable number of the people leaving destiny. Even their new big blockbuster, everyone has to try it because it better than anything else, still doesn't pass most other popular games during a dlc launch. Palworld is getting 30 new pals in a rather bare bones game ( I love it, but it is what it is) and it doubled the 1999 release on PC, something that would make more sense to use for warframe than palworld with system requirements. Warframe has garnered a very consistent playerbase, but it looks like it's no less daunting to access than destiny for getting a new influx of players. Destiny is confusing via what you do and don't need to buy, and the story is chopped up, but warframe asks a player to grind 100+ hours to play the content they marketed to that new player. Unless they pay money, of course, which can be a turn off. Much like destiny's seasonal weapon fomo.
