To be honest, they'll be changing how armour works next year, which could make current armour obsolete, so I would put too much effort into it if I were you.

Yes, I know that they are changing the armor system next year. But is it known whether the current armor will also be integrated into the new system? And it’s not about knowing right now, or rather, it doesn’t matter at the moment. I would just like to clear out and organize a bit because I have too many armor pieces cluttering up my character.

I don't think they'll be integrated, but I could be wrong. In terms of identifying which is used in a build, there are no in-game systems for that. Maybe DIM can do it? I'm not a DIM user, so don't know if there's a workaround for that. How many pieces are we talking about? Only other thing I could suggest would be very slow. Good old pen and paper to write down the stats of each piece and what orniment it has in your build, then comparing that to what's in your vault. That method would bum me out though.

A quality-of-life update would be if they simply added a small icon to armor pieces that are saved in a loadout. That would already make a big difference. I don’t use that much armor, but I would just like to tidy up my character a bit and store unused armor in the vault. I dont use DIM too, maybe i have to use pen and paper haha

I pretty much just use my best set for all my builds because warlocks generally only need Res>Dis>Rec, so one set is generally fine. I was thinking of getting a Res>Dis>Int build for the roaming super builds but not bothered with that yet 😂 A little icon would be nice as long as it didn't break the spaghetti code.

I always like to use many different builds for PvE. With my Hunter, I mostly stick to the same one, but even then, I use different subclasses. However, I always try to have the perfect stats for the various builds. That’s why I need to use different armor pieces to achieve those stats. Because of this, I always have so much armor lying around. Otherwise, I’m curious to see how the new armor system will work.
