Being a solo player and constantly running into sweaty try hards duo stacking is getting out of hand. I don't que into a 3v3 playlist solo just to match duo players. It's ruining trials and it's ruining comp. Just take it out of the game and make it pure solos and trios.

If being a duo or trio gives you some hidden buff, why not just invite one or two random players before searching for a game? Or maybe the fireteam size doesn’t matter and it’s the individual skill instead.

Or… make a friend instead of demanding a matchmaking algorithm affecting thousands of players be changed to suit you, personally. The population is extremely low. They’ve already divided the pool in half, now you want what, thirds? 😂

... or maybe only match trios with trios, same with duos but with a solo on each team, and have all solos when there are not enough trios or solos, something needs to be done as matching all solos against a trio or duo disadvantages the solos.

The focus is going to have to be on one of the three and the one plus side to it being duos is that it seems to not have to be strict sbmm, which is what it would devolve into if it was one of the other two. Not sure what level player you are but I wouldn't expect to get a solo focus and gameplay that's as good as it is now. Of course it is possible. Solo queue has probably had the best overall across player gameplay quality that I've seen in trials but that doesn't mean anything.

There needs to be a PVP training ground and build crafting tutorial. It’s pathetic at this point. Players just cry about what’s killing them and have no idea how to improve. As far as duos are concerned, it’s 50/50. Sometimes they are good, sometimes it’s a friend trying to carry a dumpster fire.

This is the conundrum bungie is struck with. According to there pvp standerd. I’ll explain the situation, bungie has stated “destiny is best played with friends” and yet then we will enforce there yard pick mm on ppl. These are 2 statements that are against eachother. Because mm makes it so the best player in the lobby of you and you’re friends will be the parameter of wich sbmm works of. So playing with friends mean you will lose a lot unless friends are just as good. So you’re stuck in the state do I play with friends or do I accept bungie mm. But this is where the problem starts. Player population is so low that 3 stacking is limited to only playing the best of the best. Solo can be punished because mm can be against you. This leaves 2 stacking to limited the odds against you to have some wins or fun. So this is results in decent players doing this. To tip the odds in there favor. Now Bungie can’t do anything against that unless they want to go against there own invision of destiny is best played with friends. So you ask Bungie the question they don’t want to awnser.

1 返信Two things 1- your 66% outcome comment is flawed. It’s all match making in the end. Bungie tries to make the teams as balanced as possible. It also goes through stages. Let’s say everyone who queues up has a rating out of 10 and the 2 stack plus a single has a combined rating of 7. They will place people the other team together to be as close to that 7 as possible. This is obviously a much wider gap due to lower numbers. I’ve had awful stacks and I’ve had absolute gamers. Just luck of the draw 2- The reason you are seeing duos pop up more is because of a lack of players. Folks are just going to have to accept that reality.
