arc subclass the only class in the game with no access to healing unless using a well on warlock or a melee build on other classes ,with a daft ionic trace cooldown that got kept in effect even after the grenade cooldown nerf.
Arc needs something like while amplified arc weapon final blows refund health and grant class ability energy or melee energy
Edit: after reading feedback from other guardians because i do totally agree with the pvp concerns mentioned by others, so ive come to the conclusion that bungie should remove the ionic trace cooldown completely and ionic traces heal the guardian
Or at the very least allow spark of resistance to be extended whilst amplified with ark weapon kills

1 返信How Id buff Arc: General: Amplified - now gives 15% DR. Reduce base timer from 16 seconds to 10 seconds (Spark of Haste now increases this back to 16 seconds) - Now passively grants a 0.9x animation scalar to weapon handling and reload speed. Spark of Resistance - Now stacks up to 2x granting 15% DR when 2 enemies are within 15m, and 25% when 3 enemies. Spark of Instinct - Now has an additional effect: Defeating Arc debuffed targets kickstarts health regen. Spark of Ions - While amplified, Ionic Traces give bonus grenade energy. Spark of Focus - Now while amplified, using your class ability improves your AE and Mobility for a moderate duration. (+10 AE and +30 Mobility for 8 seconds). Spark of Recharge - Now gives a chunk of ability energy when first activated. Effect has a 7 second cooldown. Spark of Amplitude - Combined with Spark of Volts (Finishers make you amplified. +10 Recovery) Spark of Feedback - When taking melee damage, small chance to instantly recharge your melee ability. Chance is doubled when Amplified. (+10% -> 20%) New Fragment: Spark of Capacity - While your super is full, using your class ability grants yourself and nearby allies Amplified. +10 Intellect. New Fragment: Spark of Static - Gain an additional grenade charge. -10 Discipline New Fragment: Spark of Imbalance - Ionic Traces Grant a small amount of health when collected. The amount increases when amplified. (40 HP -> 60 HP) Skip Grenades - Increase PvE damage by 50% —————— Titan: Juggernaut - Shield strength PvE DR increased to 75%. - Now additionally grants bonus melee recharge rate while amplified (150%) Touch of Thunder - Increased enhanced Storm Grenade tracking speed to pre-nerf levels, but further reduced PvP damage by 25%. - Removed additional lightning grenade charge, but now allows lightning grenades to attach to targets and the grenade’s final detonation summons a bolt of lightning. Seismic Slam - gains a 50% larger radius if cast while amplified. - +20% PvE damage. Fist of Havoc - Gain Amplified on cast - Increase PvE damage by 30%, increased to 50% versus champions and majors. Warlock: Electrostatic Mind - Casting your super while amplified increases its damage by 30%. Ball Lightning - replaced Amplified triple detonation with a Jolting Lightning strike. (Effective damage bonus of 20%) Chain Lightning - reduced cooldown tier Stormtrance - Casting while amplified increases super duration. - While amplified, jolts targets on hit. Hunter: Tempest Strike - Final strike now is larger and deals 2.5x damage in PvE. Arc Staff - While amplified, hits leave damaging aftershocks. Just my ideas. Looking to increase ability uptime and survivability.

Galvanized armor should just be part of amplified. Warlock and titan need a new aspect and super. New fragments wouldn't hurt. Honestly just give me og fist of havoc (the one off) call it something else. Aspect buffs (remove juggernaut it's worthless)

20 通の返信Arc is insanely good at generating orbs. Its a melee based subclass. Just regen through orbs and melees and you are as unkillable as other subclasses. Not all subclass needs insane self healing like restauration.

The primary issue with Arc is that it's a melee-focused subclass in a game that actively punishes you for being in melee. Hunters can only make it work because of their access to invisibility effects and exotic-based healing, and Titans have to rely on exotics to not die as well. Arc Warlocks generally lack any kind of focus at all and seem like they only exist to make Arc Buddies while doing nothing else. Other subclasses have subclass-intrinsic ways to stay alive, be that directly through healing with Restoration/Devour, through crowd control like Freeze/Suspend, or DR with Overshields/Frost Armor/Woven Mail/Sever. Arc's only source of crowd control is a single Flashbang grenade, its only source of healing requires a powered melee kill to trigger (and you have to do it this way every time, unlike with Devour), and its only source of DR is a paltry fragment that requires you be in imminent danger to benefit from. There's a reason the only truly successful Arc builds use Assassin's Cowl/Liar's Handshake/Skullfort. It's so bad for Arc Hunters that Prismatic Hunters completely took their entire gameplay loop and actively do it better because they get handed an easy-to-proc invisibility effect. Arc needs a lot of work and, most likely, an identity shift. Being "the melee class" when being close to things is one of the fastest ways to die is just bad design.

1 返信Honestly Prismatic for me (at least on Titan) has made every other subclass useless if it isn’t that. Prismatic is a great edition to the game but man has it done so much damage to other Subclasses.

1 返信Can we get to have arcbolt grenades to actually work properly? 'Cause i'm tired of throwing them and they casually decide to not hit targets. Also yes, Arc in general needs ALOT of adjustments.

Rainbine 9545により編集済み: 12/7/2024 10:23:30 AMI mean the only way to heal on arc is technically just punching stuff, knock out and combo blow are good examples, warlock have access to rifts but I can see how that’s not enough Personally I see a lot wrong with arc From grenades just not wanting to work, to some kits just going against each other, I.e combination blow and lethal blow for hunter Damage resistance why’s is just showing arc is made for up close and personal but never giving enough damage resistance to well make up for it, but what i would fix is grenades for arc not working properly, the hunter kit and more ways to gain dr, but if you want a gun that helps get sweet sorrow, grants a 5% dr from combatants I think

But to be honest; I like arc where it’s at — in terms of gameplay loop. We don’t always “need” elements built into these subclass kit that lean into the same idea as another. In fact; I think we have too much healing in the game now. Too many options and not enough content that plays itself in a way that depends much. But that’s a whole other topic. Arc is good. Maybe a step behind but overall still good

2 通の返信I think Arc-Warlock is fine and actually quite strong. BUT Arc Titan never really recovered from the final nerfs that it endured following 'Plunder'. I'd actually go out on a limb to argue that EVEN IF we returned Arc Titan to the 3.0 strength it formerly held, it WOULDN'T even be close to META!!!! . Ability spam on Prismatic is OUT OF CONTROL and NOTHING Bungie could do for Arc would make it relevant on Titan again. Prismatic already has great potential utilizing Arc abilities with better uptime & potency (thanks Stoicism!). . Hunter I barely play, so I cannot really speak to it, BUT it always made ZERO sense to me that Hunters got the 'Lethal Current' instead of Titans and that Titans got 'Touch of Thunder' instead of Warlocks. Hunter always felt out of place in that Arc 3.0 supported it's highest potential on Melee Builds. There was alot of opportunity to play more into the Dodge with Hunter on Arc that missed.

Arc isn't necessarily bad, you just have to buildin into it. I still love Insurmountable Skullfort on the Titan in lower tier activities. I still run tempest on warlock with a heavy focus on voltshot weapons like indebted kindness etc. which makes crazy traces and a very fast ability loop. And Raiden Flux is really strong right now on Hunter. I always focus on orb generation and run recuperation and better already mods on my legs for health and shield regen for survivability.

2 通の返信There was a term I came up with called recharge back when 3.0 first came out: Recharge Heals a small portion of health when granted. While amplified "Speed Booster" also grants uninterruptible health and shield regeneration for a short time.
-
6 通の返信No because titans get amplified from knockout in pvp and your idea would make that even more OP.

Arc has been desperately needing buffs ever since 3.0. It's consistently been the weakest subclass in the game by far, except when it first got reworked, and was buffed like crazy from the Season of Plunder artifact. Even Arc Hunter, the only viable Arc subclass, is now struggling because it's getting hit by the nerfs meant for Prismatic.

Maybe something like allowing your maximum health to grow above the normal. Just have some sort of trigger and balance it someway in PvP. Imagine if dealing damage returned health or something like that. Granted that does fit the void identity a little more.

2 通の返信It does kind of feel like amplified should do more. Not exactly sure what because I haven't used the subclass much since prismatic. Some type of health refund or maybe a damage buff, or possibly something even more sinister like wall hacks or radar disruption or multikill jolt would fit well with that subclass. I also wish that on hunter they could select a projectile melee. Its the only subclass without one.
