The problem is that it was emphasised more by removing forgiveness. This was requested by people that either never played crucible and only dabbled in checkmate or would never set foot regardless.
There is nothing inherently bad about strategy, coordinating but it gets actively promoted if you extend ttks on the bodyshot end so much. Lower skilled players don't care, they get slapped about by people that know what they are doing. That's why people are quitting, they have to face the music but refuse to do so and instead just leave the game while letting the people that generally enjoy a mode face their consequences
It's ironic isn't it
What was the saying again by a certain forum goober "Cater to casuals?"
Like I said I don’t play crucible anymore but I will once ib come around for them new weapons. Even in destiny 1s crucible people still stuck as teams and would “team shoot” even the little i played of trials you would stay together as teams and any enemy teams I saw did the exact same thing, move, as a unit and play together.
Isn’t the ttk of most weapons under a second? That doesn’t seem like a whole lot.
Any multiplayer game regardless if it’s a fps or strategy or turn based or anything really actively promotes team shooting and team play, because the faster you kill an enemy the easier the game is. Trials for example if you stay together and team shoot the solo guy on the enemy team it turns into a 3v2 rather quickly giving you greater odds of winning. Regardless if it gets promoted or encouraged a lot of people especially casual people are going to do that.
I don’t play crucible anymore but when I use too I would see half the team hand hold not even play objectives while I run off to push flanks and cap zones and what not 😂 Another reason I hated playing control, it was basically a tdm game for the people I matched with like hello do yall wanna win or what? Stand in circles 🫵🏽🤯
