Yeah, my wife's been having the same problem. Destiny isn't her main game, so she doesn't play it as much as me, and as a result, she has yet to earn any of the new exotics since Final Shape launched, because she just doesn't play enough and isn't rich enough to max out Rahool before the season resets. It's such an awful system, and just another thing that's pushing casual players out of the game.

TripleF73により編集済み: 11/13/2024 7:45:09 PMI am sorry that this affects your wife but she has to be very casual to not get 40 exotic engrams (the number you need to reset Rahool’s rank if you just decode the engrams and don’t focus them) in over 5 months, which is how long Revenant lasts. Even on one character doing 9 strikes and one Excision a week will net you 4 exotic engrams per week. Thats 10 weeks for 40 exotic engrams. Thats halfway through the episode. Let’s say that it takes 20 mins per strike / excision, (which it won’t but let’s just say it does for arguments sake) that’s 200 mins max per week. That’s 3 hours and 20 mins per week. And that’s an overly conservative estimate. It’ll probably take less than two hours per week. And that’s to be done with it on one character, halfway into the episode and ignoring prime engram drops and random exotic drops too. Edit:- I’m not trying to be a jerk here, just trying to help focus her playtime so she’s able to get the new armour. I hope this helps 👍

Yeah, that actually does help. Last season we didn't start playing until Final Shape went on sale, so we were a bit late starting, and I also didn't think of taking her to do Excision for exotics as well. Maybe with some luck, I'll be able to help her get some new exotics this season.
