Fusion rifle rework when?
I keep getting mapped by fusion rifles with a faster charge time than my ttk and I CANNOT HEAR THEM.
They’re underused and overpowered.

37 通の返信Not "mapped" - you're either getting cleaned up or in ~20m. There are odd ones that are quieter but generally it's not just down to the sound but knowing the situational and map awareness of where they're likely to be. It's no different to say Shotgun where you know if you're in range, you're toast. There's no possible counter to a Shotgun hit plus melee. Shotgun usage far exceeds Fusion usage. In fact it's more than Fusion and Sniper combined. And only the self-consoling ever think popularity isn't following effectiveness. So yeah, Fusions do need a rework: shorter charge times and consistent pellet spreads.

2 通の返信I'm not sure I would call them overpowered because the skill ceiling on shotguns and snipers is higher, but I do think they're disproportionately powerful for the ease of use that they possess. Lot of players with poor aim and poor movement that wouldn't be able to do anything with any other weapon type slap on a fusion and all of a sudden their a threat.

4 通の返信The only fusions capable of going past 20 are telesto, tessalation alt fire, 1k, Vex, and Jotunn. You ain't getting mapped.

Kiro - 13により編集済み: 11/10/2024 12:13:06 PMIt is interesting because on the graph Bungie showed us fusions exceed over kill ratios by a massive margin but became non-existant the higher you moved up the x axis(skill). I know this a hot take. I think its because people that enjoy PvP on a more regular basis find the weapon type cringy. But now you can craft a Zealots Reward or chase a Gravitic Arrest with 100 range & 81 stability. The problem and answer is simple. Remove the Closing Time perk from fusion rifles perk pool, theirs a reason fusions dont ship with Under Pressure+Opening Shot.
