Freeze in pvp
I just hate it... There are so many chain freeze options for warlock and titans, it's just ridiculous. Hunters had their stasis "freeze" abilities nerfed to the ground already so why should titans and warlocks (mostly titans) not have these abilities nerfed ONLY IN PVP as well?

10 通の返信i mean, all warlocks and titans really have is coldsnaps and diamond lances as viable freeze options tbh...also osmiomancy gloves got nerfed recently too.

obviously they have no PVP play-testers.. no way freeze would have been given the thumbs up for PVP play.. that Stasis launch.. and now creepin back in with the stasis season.. freeze is just one of the many reasons why you can't trust.. recommend.. d2 pvp to anyone. -

rule #1 don't rush a Shadebinder this is if you got punched while frozen, if you got shotgunned, then rip rule #2 if there's an ice bolt grenade, jump literally just jump and the grenades useless rule #3 don't bunch up if you couldn't jump, or if your teammate caused a chain reaction, then you should be a little further away, or wearing stompees this is about all the tips I can give you when you see a blue staff on the top right of your screen, dunno about stasis titan as they can create infinite crystals and shards and the armor and freeze, with one slide, which is op as hell

2 通の返信Freeze only lasts 1 or 2 seconds anyway. That includes Slow. You have to really try to freeze somebody in PVP. The amount of nerfs. SMH

2 通の返信They don't need to nerf anything, they just need to create more anti-freeze options. They did it with titans exotic Path of Burning steps, it makes you more resistant to stasis effects. They need to bring that trait into the other classes.

10 通の返信Dude Hunter doesn’t need to have the best subclass in every category. We already have the best Strand, Prism, Void, Arc, and arguably Solar classes. Warlock can have freeze.

Just don't bunch up with teammates and jump as others have said, and if you're not also not just another shotgun ape and actually use something else for a special for once, you'll be fine. Then titans really only have the diamond lance, which requires them to get an ability kill so just keep them at a distance or wait out the cooldown. Fighting either is preferable to me over Prismatic hunters even to this day.

1 返信I would just say PvP has been an ability spam fest the last few years because of terrible Sandbox devs who think power fantasy will keep casuals around but all it does it makes game snow ball so quick. People are talking about Stasis Warlocks like that’s what you encounter in pvp…I encounter titans freezing you with an ice land and one shotting you from everything from melee to a snipe to troll. I don’t blame the player. If it’s there use it cause others will. I blame the sandbox team. It’s not just getting frozen but getting hit with concentration from a Titan that one shots, being killed by a threadling from someone who’s not even aiming at you etc. I don’t get why they can’t just either give us a game mode like hardware or balance abilities for pvp separately. Today I played a game and in the group chats randos were taking time to type how unfun this all was. Personally I’m a pretty casual player these days. Maybe a couple matches before work or after a bike ride…I just want to come into a match and aim for heads. Maybe I get farmed maybe I font’s but I don’t want to die to ability spam like some Dreg in the EDZ. I’d rather die to a weapon and get bagged like God intended. Good day ya’ll 😅

1 返信I want freeze gone just as much as the rest, but do NOT compare even the best of stasis warlock right now to peak stasis Hunter or even titan. Stasis hunter ruined PvP for over a year.

9 通の返信I'm not sure why you have a problem with Stasis Warlock when they're used by 1% of players... And I don't recall any freezing abilities on Prismatic Warlock? Now, Prismatic Titans generate Diamond Lance's fairly easily, so I can understand that complaint. If you're a slow-moving character, it's really hard to stop being frozen by the ability. I agree Bungie could do something here to make it require better aim to freeze or harder to obtain a diamond Lance in the first place.
