Have you looked at the forums recently let alone the multiple bugs such as encore exotic mission and caydes fate still being bugged the new modifiers for base strikes make that playlist miserable to play
Haven’t seen any of those bugs, but any that do exist get fixed. The entire point of the new modifiers releasing now instead of with Apollo is to gather player feedback.
-
That is besides the point keep it to nightfalls the base strike playlist is not the place for that
Some people don’t like the modifiers, others do like the modifiers. That’s exactly why they chose to test them.
-
Still didn’t acknowledge that I’m saying it should be kept to nightfalls that would be the place to test them no reason to add them to base strikes
Didn’t acknowledge what? It’s not even been two full weeks. Testing them in the modes they’re going to be in is exactly how you test things. All the new modifiers I have played with are fun and change how I approach older content. If you don’t share my opinion, make a post and give them feedback. That’s the point of testing them.
-
That’s exactly what I did lmao called out the problems like it being in strikes that playlist should be for new people and basic pve experience not everything should be something for people who dump countless hours into it if you’re bored with that playlist play something else

It will be, but as these are modifiers that will be a part of the Portal system, they need to be tested for all activities for which they can be applied... "optionally" Like the preview for Solo Ops... you'll actually be able to make strikes and other PvE activities easier with beneficial modifiers... harder with debuff modifiers... Or play those activities without modifiers. That's why these modifiers are in Vanguard Ops... to test, improve... refine them for integration with the Portal System in 7 months.
-
Could have been tested in nightfalls regardless of this so still don’t understand why it’s in vanguard ops a public playlist made for new players which these modifiers are evidently not made for new players as people with experience are complaining about this

jhermannITJにより編集済み: 10/18/2024 4:10:40 PMBecause it will be an "option" via the Portal there as well. That's why. But it won't remain like this. However, this is the best way to accumulate this data so the launch of the Portal system is as smooth as possible. Furthermore, even if you choose to refrain later, learning about these things, even things you don't like, is a good thing... it's part of it. Weapons, builds... other activities you don't like either. Testing these things benefits all players. Constructive feedback... isn't "no, never"... Constructive feedback is... I don't like this because... It could be better IF... A categorical dismissal doesn't serve you.

When it specifically affects a portion of the player base in a negative way it is never good even for testing sake and they should realize this or even make a separate playlist that has these experimental modifiers since they aren’t tested and actively have shown to annoy most players
Many issues with the game and obvious feedback with no one talking about it. Content creators are saying nothing about it but as evident with the forums and reddits the game has major league issues that are frustrating players
Where is the feedback? Your post doesn’t say anything about strikes or modifiers. The strike playlist is one of the core activities and is supposed to have lots of replay ability. You can launch world strikes if you do not want any modifiers.
-
If you see I talk about the countless other people talking about it like seriously it’s everywhere on the forums especially oscillation being complained about
Your post didn’t mention anything specific. It’s not actual feedback.
-
Never said it was calling out the fact that bungie hasn’t even responded to this at all
There isn’t anything to respond to. You didn’t give feedback in your post. You did claim that you had. The point of testing the modifiers is to gather feedback on them. Changes will be made to them just like every other part of the game.
-
You keep saying that but my problem is where they are being tested and you haven’t said anything about that?
We already discussed the location of the testing.
Didn’t acknowledge what? It’s not even been two full weeks. Testing them in the modes they’re going to be in is exactly how you test things.

You don’t get it they don’t need to test it in strikes they really only need to test it in nightfalls as that’s where most game altering modifiers take place
The base strike modifiers are being tested in strikes. Nightfall and other higher tier content modifiers are being tested in nightfalls. You test where you’re going to put them.
