An hour into this season and it’s already annoying.
Thanks for taking the ability to go to the nav screen away from the character menu /s
Also thanks for putting annoying banners at the bottom of the screen that won’t go away /s
Thanks for putting a bunch of useless tonics and other useless crap in the game /s
Keep digging your hole, Bungie 🫡🤷🏻♂️
Edit: probably just gonna play PvP from now on. I’m doo doo at it and could use the play anyway. It’s still frustrating at times nonetheless, but it beats the back and forth. I hope everyone has a good weekend and enjoys the new dungeon.

I'll play Devil's Advocate here - it took about two hours to truly annoy me. The storyline is classic Bungie - an okay bit of family drama, a completely illogical character 180 and a 'big bad' and enemies that make absolutely zero sense (undead that aren't dead are just 'living', Bungo). We still have banner interrupts telling us to walk six feet and speak to somebody else and the tonic crafting system is 'Baking 2.0' (now featuring staggeringly bad RNG even by Bungo standards). And the 'loot grind' is so much of a step back we nearly ended up in the original Marathon Plus, how is it actually possible that we have people in Onslaught who have no idea what to do (which makes the 'Salvation' version ten times worse than the terrible it already is)?

2 通の返信The tonic system is a joke, that nav from character menu thing is a bug that should be getting fixed, but might only happen at the end of Oct. seeing as how that was the latest they announced a hot fix, and I found out 2 more annoying parts. First is that this first act was actually shorter than a single week's part from Echoes, and second is that their exotic class item focusing at ghost only lets you choose 1 perk to focus. Not one for each column, ONE PERK TOTAL!!! Bungie, are you actually actively trying to kill your game?! If you look at your player total right now, you seem to be succeeding at that.

It just shows they are all washed up and have nothing to offer this game anymore and this is their idiotic idea of player engagement. Destiny has the worst studio working on this game, and as I stated a while back, and they keep proving me right. Things are always going to get worse with this game as long as it is in their hands. The scary thing about this is that they aren't anywhere near finished with screwing things up.

3 通の返信After all these years and memes I can't believe this still happens: I'm standing in front of Eido, quest tells me to go get a message from Eido downstairs next to Eramis. Why? She's standing right there why can't she just tell me? I go get the note next to Eramis, next step is to go upstairs to the holoprojector to talk to... Eramis. I'm standing right next to her! I can hear her taunting me its not like its a soundproof barrier! Not quite on par with talking to Ikora in the tower and her telling me to go talk to Ikora on Mars, or the time I was told to go talk to Mara Sov by walking past Mara Sov to go through a portal to find Mara Sov. But still its unbelievably stupid, how does this get approved?

It's terrible so far, no doubt. I went in with an open mind, hoping they might have learned something from the failure of the last few months. Wishful thinking. Bunch of buffoons that need a new career if this is what they consider "good".
