It is a very big deal to some of us. The destiny community have a very varied way of playing the game and what we enjoy. To gatekeep some activities behind doing everything BUT what you want to do for WEEKS OR MONTHS, is a big deal. It's a game. It's supposed to be fun. It's kind of like I just bought a car, but to drive that car with a steering wheel the deal includes that I have to do the following: -Peel 10.000 bananas and throw them in the trash -Take a bus to town, say hello to a cashier, then go back home. Repeat 3 times. -Cook a shrimp dish while wearing a yellow sweater that is way too small and slightly chokes you. -Cook a shrimp dish while wearing orange pants that are way too tight and cut off your circulation. -Cook a shrimp dish while standing on one leg. -Make a lemonade from tomatoes that is spilled out and lost if your neighbour opens their front door. I agree. I’m not for it as I feel it forces “artificial participation” just to boost their player counts. It’s also lazy. They are trying to “add” content by raising power cap but we, as players, are doing the work instead of them bringing back some sunset content with updated weapons and them doing some work. But, some enjoy it and that’s completely fine. I just find it hilarious that I see the same users trolling because they don’t agree with another’s opinion. Last I checked, this is a feedback forum where player can give their OPINIONS to Bungie about current and future aspects of the game. It’s really not that serious.
