Though they were broken in PvP at the time, they weren’t even close to overpowered in the PvE sandbox. It made solar hunter pretty fun with the ability combos. The nerf was unnecessary in PvE specifically in the need for kills to initiate the perk. With the introduction of prismatic, which provides arguably easier and more braindead ability loops when transcend, most of the other subclasses have fallen behind, which is to be expected. However the discrepancy in the pure potency of almost any hunter prismatic build compared to the regular subclass counterparts is insane. Prismatic is super fun, but it feels like the game’s abilities are becoming power crept into oblivion. Young Ahamkaras Spine provided a unique play style that prismatic couldn’t take, but young ahamkaras spine sucks.
