Why can a suppressor grenade stop supers and all abilities and movement. I know it’s part of the suppressor fantasy but I don’t like it.

The fact is that practically no one uses Suppressor grenades. The fact is that most players are using Smokes on Prismatic Hunter, and Prismatic Hunter is used by 1 in 2 players. It doesn't matter how good your theory is if it doesn't match reality.

So you’re saying titans grenades are so good on prismatic they don’t need to choose suppressor and hunters melee options are so bad they have to go with smoke bomb. Ok, message received. Nerf Titan grenades. Buff hunter melee.

Haha, I guess that is one way to look at it! I get your point, but you need to balance Class / Subclass usage as well as Ability usage. Prismatic Hunter is overused, so Bungie can't buff any part of their kit. Their only option is to nerf the outliers, and Smokes are an outlier because they're the most melee on Prismatic.

Well, we haven't a subclass/element type with the sole purpose of suppressing He made a point, smoke bombs have more area denial potency than stasis, which was considered THE area denial subclass, and is also tied to relativly obnoxious subclasses (mainly prismatic), with short cooldown since hunters can get back their melee ability with a dodge, which is on a 15-20 second cooldown. So yeah, maybe they do something Idk..
