Get rid of Guardians ranks!
Can we all agree that guardians ranks is the most devastating thing in destiny 2. Like trying to find a group for raids or gm nightfall is literally impossible because of the group rank requirement, even though I have been playing destiny 1 & 2 for years. I feel bungie need to remove guardians rank from the game. It not helping the game to the point of dividing the community.

"We" can't agree on anything around ere. I don't like Guardian ranks, I think it's the biggest waste of game resources to date, just ahead of collections, but I've learnt to live with it. Now I get a laugh at seeing all the rank 11 "God Slayers" running around dying in the most stupid ways imaginable. It only goes to show that they don't mean dik.

They should keep it as something for people to chase after if they want to. But it should be removed from fireteam finders. Getting to rank 10 means very little. The only rank where you can argue has any skill related to it is 11, since that requires a person to do a solo dungeon.

My only real gripe with guardian ranks are triumphs that aren’t retroactive within a season. It was bad enough having to do those awful focus co-op missions the first time around, just to find out they wanted me to do 3 more in rank 7. (There are better examples of this, I just don’t have any for this season since Salvation’s Edge got me stuck at rank 8) That, and point values being a joke

3 通の返信I wouldn't say they ha e any negative effects in the game. More it's that they're simply just worthless. A waste of time. I did rank 11 in the first season it came out and have not hit 11 since. I just do not care to go and do all of the stuff required to hit 11. I don't do GMs. There's no point and nothing I can get from them. I don't care about seasonal content anymore. It's all just so boring and pointless. I don't care to solo every dungeon anymore. It means nothing and I'd rather just blow through it with friends. Guardian ranks are literally the most pointless thing they've ever done. If it gave out an emblem, shader, ship, or anything at all, I would do it. But they offer nothing at all

Why is it that so many people intentionally make the game harder for themselves, and then use it as an excuse to blame Bungie? You claim it's impossible to find a group, and yet you've done a few Raids. So you were clearly able to get a group together before, but then chose not to do it anymore. Bungie is at fault for a lot of issues in the game. You being too lazy to get a group together is not one of them

I think guardian ranks are a good idea but they are very poorly implemented. Instead of per Episode it should be per year. Also it should go on past rank 11. Maybe all Solo Flawless Dungeons for rank 12, all Flawless Raids for rank 13 and Contest Raid for Rank 14.

That wasn't meant to be but got started by a bunch of streamer sweats trying to prove literally nothing. As far as raids, if you don't get in a raid within a week or 2 at best you'll never get it done, you'll just see hunter only posts or must have 20 clears something like that

So you are literally just making excuses And if you feel like [b][u][i]YOU[/i][/u][/b] cant join posts because of your rank then [b][i][u]MAKE YOUR OWN[/u][/i][/b] post

Join a clan or something and everything but solo'ing a dungeon should be a walk in the park. ;) Or you could just ignore the ranks and play what you want to play and have a little fun.

I've ran into more r3 tarded ah teammates holding ranks 8 and above than I have lower rank players. Anyone who genuinely looks at those and seriously thinks that equates to how good or experienced a player is, is more likely to be a complete bot and noob at the game.

1 返信I kind of agree with this sentiment. Ranks are really not necessary other than locking out newer or people they deem casual. It also makes it more difficult for newer or returning players to gain some footing as it's more difficult to get included in higher tiered content. Not saying everyone has this issue, but there are as many not so nice people as there are nice ones willing to help. I think it's time to scrap it as well as commendations. They are pointless.

Hello. I for one don't really care too much about titles or ranks per se. However if getting rid of Guardian Ranks means more room for the the vault I'm all for it! Other than that, I don't feel any less connected or disconnected if I'm a 6 or a 7 (I'm GR 7 I think). To me it's as useful as the commendation system IE a complete waste of time and space in game. Just an opinion.

I agree. As someone who’s been playing Destiny 2 for YEARS, I still can’t be bothered to level up my guardian rank. Because there’s no rewards for doing so. So every season, I’m GR 6 or 7. And when the fireteams request GR 8+ and I am statistically a more skilled player than said people, it sucks. Because skill is now gauged by a number most people don’t care to increase.

If you've been playing for years, you shouldn't have any issues fulfilling the easy and mostly-meaningless tasks it takes to get your Guardian Rank somewhere decent. As an elitist rank 11 Godslayer, who often dies to falling off cliffs and having large things land on my head, I prefer to invite people who work toward solving problems, rather than complain about them and expect someone else to solve them. The part where you think coming to the forums and making a cry post is a better use of your time than ranking up communicates to me that I'm right to filter my group applicants based on Guardian Rank, because it keeps players like you from joining.

wyzyrd1により編集済み: 7/31/2024 6:22:22 AMmy problem with guardian ranks is the hoops you have to jump thru just to get bk to where you were im 9 by choice , the only reason im not 10 working 11 is im not a fan of the raids and only had 5 of 8 completed and cant be bothered doing stuff i dont enjoy just to level up and i been fine with that but this time after having to go thru forced focus missions just to get bk to 8 the only thing im missing to get bk to 9 is another raid... so level 8 it is lol i say let us keep our ranks we earned so people can start working on the next stuff they need to progress rightaway if they choose and give the 11s a bunch of their level stuff to complete to guild their rank and for the people that go off the triumph points stuff i been seeing , i dont know about you people but me and everyone i run with lost around 4k when fs launched ... i went from 17 almost 18k bk to 13 working 14k
