I go there to hunt for new recruits for my clan. We aren't serious by any means, but its nice for newer players to have a few extra pieces of gear early on. We hope the gear is nice for them and when they decide to take the game more seriously, they usually just find a clan thats better suited for them. But for a while, we get to hang out with them and watch them grow. Its kinda neat
The best way to kill off new lights and make them quit forever is to invite them to a fireteam and take them into a nightfall or even strike in the first hour of them playing rather than letting them explore the game and play patrol/campaign.
Goodjob on making them quit, I’ve seen it happen plenty of times
Only thing you’re doing this is for your own self, to feel good, you’re denying them natural progression by lurking in the starting area and inviting them to a clan/ interrupting their first hour of the game
Nothing I dislike more than that. High level players ruining the day 1 experience in mmorpg’s. Same in other multiplayers, WoW and the likes. Even diablo, high level players thinking they need to help day 1 players
But hey you do you, keep at it buddy
Can you read???? He invites them to clan so they can benefit from clan engrams. Nowhere did he say he invites them then forces them into strikes or anything.
