Big streamers kinda advocated for this direction over the years….

Oh, weren't these the same streamers that said Bungie cooked with TFS and that it is one of the best if not the best expansion they ever released? Hmm... seems like streamers in general are mentally deficient and will only spout whatever -blam!- they think will get them the most money. I'll tell you this though, the only reason these streamers want a "refresh" or a "new game" are not because they genuinely care about the game its because they want to make money off content. But guess what? Give it a month or two after this hypothetical D3 releases and we'd immediately be back to the same complaining as we are right now. It would also be a monumental task for Bungie to have to convince the playerbase that they'll "get it right this time" while also convincing them that losing 7 years of content is a "good thing".

Streamers complaining probably means their uploads are getting reduced views. But yeah, the game has run out of steam of late.

As others have said the symbiotic relationship between the corporation and the self-employed non-representative promoters has been self-poisoning for years. This closed loop has supported, if not created, some of biggest problems of the game and turned it into something that feeds it over the game. Convoluted messes of badly explained or not explained features, missions, quests, and fake pseudo-puzzles that aren't puzzles at all but can only be found from culled and collated info published on YouTube. It's been contorted into a YouTube lookup exercise. Streamers begging for and justifying Sunsetting - we all remember that, Datto, et al. Streamers begging for more elitist weapons, unobtainable by many without the mandatory fireteam members, then complain of its stale meta and poor player retention facing them. Streamers begging and BEGGING for the Raid to be the hardest yet, despite the already abysmal Raid engagement rates and wondering why it then has one of the lowest engagement rates of all time. It's fed them expensive houses and Bungie lucrative traffic and now we see one of the sharpest downturns in engagement in record. Bungie are their own worst enemy.

You mean these people are telling the community what they already know for views. There isn't anything any of them can say that everyone doesn't already know. I like how they use what the community has been saying for years as if "it was their own idea". Do I "hate" them, no, I just wish they weren't so fake and use what the community is saying when they are low on material to use.

I don’t really know what else you guys want. I don’t know a game that has an infinite amount of content. Eventually the game will lose your interest which is ok. Go outside, read a book, or play another game idk. Just leave the game until more content drops

Game has been like this for a long time. FS putting a break in the expansion cycle just cemented it

The game has come to an end, just let it rest and enjoy the last 10 years

This is the game people want tho. Everything the same, nothing to change. There’s nothing to fix, people are just getting bored. Play it when you enjoy it, play other stuff when you don’t. Or wait until a streamer tells you what to think or do.

After the Salvation's Edge World's First Race, nothing the Streamers say matters at all. Especially ATP. Their opinions always flip on a dime, anything to get views.

Hard reset won’t do a thing. 1. It will still be Destiny 2. People will always complain 3. You eat pasta all day everyday, you get sick of pasta.
