Changes TITAN Needs!!!!! Bungie Please Read!

To start off: Warlocks are the grenade class. Titans are the melee class. Hunters have to be a combination of class ability + grenade OR melee. Titan needs a lot of love. The main goal of this post is the address the identity crisis of titans. Warlocks and Hunters are in a good spot. Titans are not. Lets help with that: These changes are meant to enforce a gameplay loop. Titans do not have unique access to devour, volatile rounds, or access to chain abilities like Hunter or Warlock can, just to name a few examples. These classes are able to start their gameplay loop faster than titan. and stay active longer than titan can. Below are changes that try not to infringe on what is already developed, but hopes to enhance titan to a point where they can compete with the other classes and stay on par with them. This is not an extensive list. but purely focused on the subclass themselves. Class Abilities: Rally barricade: Make it auto reload the caster's weapons similar to what we had before but limited to only the Titan who casts it. [b]Solar[/b] Throwing Hammer: Remove cure... replace with "apply small amount of scorch on hit" Roaring Flames: Add "Increase the amount of scorch stacks you apply" Hammer of Sol: Add "While in super, allow Hammer Strikes and Consecration to be activated." (These add subclass verbs to Hammer of Sol and focus on causing ignitions.) Consecration: Good as is Sol Invictus: Good as is Summary: Solar is in a good spot it just needs minor adjustments. [b]Arc[/b] Thrusters: Make it work with other class ability exotics (that are not tied to other subclasses) Seismic Strike: Replace Blind with Jolt Ballistic Slam: Make it Blind Touch of Thunder: Add "Grenade hits recharge Melee Ability" Knockout: Buff Health gain on kill (in PvE not in PvP) Thundercrash: Fix hit registration (Clipping through enemies). Increase Damage with Cuirass of Falling star. Make it Jolt. Juggernaut Shield: (complete rework) While Amplified; gain Damage Resist, using your class ability gives you a Damage Resist that lasts longer (the damage resist would be the same as stag in PvP) [This encourages the use of Thruster Class Ability in PvE for this subclass] Summary: Arc has been dominant in PvP, Jugg shield needs some addressing, but not to make it completely unusable. These changes should keep Arc titan viable in PvP while making them viable in PvE. Arc Titan can be weak in PvE when you can't cycle abilities to stay alive. These changes should help alleviate that problem. [b]Void[/b] Buff Void Overshield!!! Barricade: Rally does not auto reload weapon. Instead [u]Rally barricade and towering barricade grant a small Void Overshield intrinsically. Increase base cooldown to compensate. Shield Bash & Shield Throw: give you a stronger Void Overshield. Unbreakable: Increase health of Void Overshield. Grants a small Void Overshield to nearby allies when Unbreakable ends. (encourages the defensive play with this aspect) Controlled demolitionist: Add "Void ability kills grant Volatile Rounds. Why? Warlocks have Devour on ability kills, this feeds their Volatile-Round loop. Hunters have Invisibility off of Debuffed Targets, this feeds into their Gyrfalcon Volatile-Round loop. Titans should have their own loop right off the bat while freeing up a fragment slot for them too, same way Hunter's have it. Offensive Bulwark: Add "Perists for 5 seconds after Void Overshield goes away." (encourages titan grenade build, unbreakable aspect, smooths out the experience to loop into itself.) Bastion: Add "Kills while you have a Void Overshield grant class ability energy" (encourages synergy with Void Breeches.) Revert Ward of Dawn, Weapons of Light changes. Summary: These changes encourage highly defensive playstyles, while keeping a good offensive. And mitigates time between starting the gameplay loop again. [b]Stasis[/b] Shiver Strike: Completely refunds melee after defeating a frozen target or shattering stasis crystals. (this encourages the initial idea for Stasis Titans and sets up their loop.) Tectonic Harvest: Remove melee energy, replace with "Increase total stacks of Frost Armor". (This should be Additive and helps reinforce the titan when in thick of battle.) Howl of the Storm: Needs a change! Either it consumes class ability instead or adds additional melee charge. (The idea is to create the stasis crystals from it, and shatter from it, maybe stasis consecration?) Diamond lance: Good as is. Cryoclasm: Good as is. Summary: Stasis Titans need to be the king of creating crystals and shattering them. That was their identity when they were first introduced and that is how we will keep them. [b]Strand[/b] Into the Fray: Remove the tangle grant woven mail, instead [b]Melee kills grant woven mail. buff duration of Woven Mail. Summary: Strand Titan has been majorly tuned over the year. It is in a good spot and doesn't need a huge overhaul like the other subclasses.
