Disregard this post, I’m done with the careless attitudes and arm chair warriors

1 返信Problem is, there are tons of disabilities out there. Blindness, hearing loss, carpal tunnel, arthritis, social anxiety (which seems to affect about 95% of this community), speech impediments, epilepsy. Which should Bungie cater to, and which should they ignore. They cannot cater to all at once - what kind of experience would that lead to? The unfortunate reality is that disabilities make life harder - they just do. And the world cannot always be modified to accommodate everyone, unfortunately.
-
It's not possible to accommodate every level of disability as that is to wide a net. Whilst yes it sucks for those that can't do certain stuff due to disability to ask for content to be accessible for someone in your position would mean it's boring and way to easy for everyone who wants stuff to give some challenge. You have two options. 1. Figure out how to get it done 2. Accept it's out of your reach
-
2 通の返信If there's one thing I've learned about the destiny community, it's that they have no shame in ripping apart anyone on the forums including somebody that's disabled.

6 通の返信Not to be that guy, but it’s called ENDGAME as in the hardest content. Idk what was said but I mean, it’s kinda implied that it’s difficult.
-
2 通の返信I played with a deaf person before. We did Vog he joined got to oracles and told us that he is deaf luckily it was a whole pc lobby so we can type very fast. I do agree some of the harder content needs to be toned down a bit or allow over leveling since being -5 under means that you take more damage and do less damage.

1 返信It’s honestly sad and humiliating how these comments are. For one, thank you for your service. Dual destiny IS a problem. No matter how people look at it, it’s still a problem. I’ve posted feedback on steam and more social media websites on destiny 2. I’ve gotten some friends and family to do it as well. If destiny 2 beloved star rating drops I’m sure they’ll listen. I mean I would assume they would if they want to keep players and keep making money. Bungie claims to be inclusive to all including people with disabilities. Why would they create this mission in the way it is? Idk. Could they have came up with better options? Yes definitely. Did they even try to? No. No one should have to come out of their comfort zone to a community that is mostly toxic and these comments prove my point further.

1 返信Artisanにより編集済み: 7/9/2024 11:47:49 AMThe have adjusted the moth infested cavern now - which was indeed ridiculous. As far as Dual Destiny, some bright spark will say type the symbols. A problem with that is that's PC ONLY. Yes you can type on Console but its excruciatingly slow and not suitable for this. Possibly via phone...but really this shouldn't be forced. Ultimately HAVING to chat, been FORCED TO,, to randoms on the Internet, for such a key important aspect as all exotic Class items was an atrocious, greedy decision. It's certainly not what most people want, it should be limited to Raids - already the least popular activity in the entire game. The mission could have stayed but not for the sole access to this level of important items. Putting that in bold, as there's enough of this was a great experiment in mechanics - fine do that but don't couple it with this level of loot. Gatekeepers rejoice at this kind of restriction, most of then are adolescents and children, 'useful idiots' to the corporate greed suits. What they were really after was, KNOWING FULL WELL many, probably most, players really do not want or as yourself literally can't game and chat to randoms, it'll increase the pressure and push for us to selfishly, exploitatively nag any available friend(s) to play and buy Destiny. And if you don't have that you're forced with randoms. That was the real Dual Destiny purpose. It's a disgrace. Finally what should be the gold standard of Destiny is multiplayer matchmaking activities. This could EASILY have been achieved, and made GREAT, with that as the design brief. But $$$s rule, players can just suck it up, and the BDF Gatekeepers will be ever there batting stupidly on the wrong team as they always are. A lot of players with the paid DLC are now without these Class items and the resentment and limitation will not go away when it comes to the next buying decision Bungie.

1 返信Why do waste your time with these degenerates? Thanks for your service , coming from a retired 11B.

4 通の返信If you can type all that, you can type out symbols and numbers to do the mission.

3 通の返信Wow. I'm sorry for your issues. If only there was a way you could resolve some of them. The physical issues you mentioned are something you have to live. Although I know quite a few disabled people who are more able than healthy people with no disabilities. The entitled mental state you display is something you can change.
-
1 返信Sorry you have to live with that, but unfortunately, not everything is accessible. That would be like the blind being mad at the movie theater manager because they can’t see their movies. It’s just not rational. Not every destination has a ramp that the handicapped can use. It’s unfortunate, but such is a problem of life. You just have to adapt and overcome.

4 通の返信Omg another one of these posts which are usually bullshit. You did 7 tours? Ok bit hard to believe but ok since my older brother did 3 tours and he was forced off a 4th tour until he took a 6 month break in between. But ok. But seriously. One guys posts he can’t talk to people anxiety. Another is blind. Another hearing impaired. Another has no finger tips. Come on now people

6 通の返信ㅤ Avvorにより編集済み: 7/9/2024 3:06:40 PMSometimes content can’t be designed for all people Be it someone with a disability or someone just bad at the said game Bungie can’t design there game with a small minority in mind if it impacts the majority by making it to easy and boring for most Sorry I guess
-
While I appreciate most players comments and understand that Bungie can't make content for the small minority my chief complaint/suggestion to Bungie would be to keep players with disabilities in mind when they make content like the Exotic class Item mission. If they had made this activity 3 man then I wouldn't even have posted this. In raid my clans knows of my issues and I don't take on positions that require that person to do clear call outs or a position where many players are speaking over each other and have to hear whom said what. If they had made this activity a 3 man thing then If wouldn't be an issue period. So no they don't need to make content for any one type but that they do keep in mind people with disabilities. Enough said, as one commenter put It I'll improvise, adapt and overcome some how or I won't.
-
2 通の返信No other way to say it. All content is NOT for everyone. They shouldn't be catering to a fraction of a fraction of players.
-
1 返信you must realize you're an extreme example. They can't possibly account for people who have gone through the trauma that you have gone through when creating content for this game. You're able to solo zero hour on legendary difficulty in under 20 minutes. The moth cave is miserable lol the time for the cysts I couldn't yell ya but I did all but 2 under 4 mins by accident so you can do it too. There's ways to mitigate the issues you have but you first need to attempt the mission. If you fail try again. Pull up a share screen if you need to your teammate can pin it to the side (that's assuming you're on ps5) .. You're completely capable of completing dual destiny.

I will add this comment as well. I've tried LFG for some things and every one of my experiences have been most negative with other players out right mocking me for how I speak and asking if I'm -blam!- which is offensive and way out of line. So yeah I won't LFG anything.

1 返信Screen share, or use your phone to video your screen to discord. You can find solutions to these problems a lot of the time. When you can't, and searching for options others have found also yield no results, then that's where that train ends I suppose.

8 通の返信Things you need to be able to do to complete this mission: Stay alive. Be able to describe pictographs. Be able to count to nine. Be able to read a clock. That doesn't sound very complex to me, and I once ate a Whopper with the wrapper still on it. I know that you can do it. Text chat and screen sharing are all you need. You said you haven't even attempted it yet, so you're accepting defeat without trying first.
