My clan was founded 9 years ago, on this day.
I’m typing this with a somewhat uneasy stomach and heavy eyelids (it’s 4 AM)
On July 7th, 2015, I founded my clan, [i]The MLG Dank Memers[/i]. The fact that it was founded on “Bungie Day” was completely coincidental. I didn’t do that on purpose.
Some might say the clan name sounds silly. But I like it. When I created it, MLG Montage parodies were popular. Plus those parodies have always been favorite of mine.

It’s not a big clan or anything, it’s a small group of friends and a few random players I invited either from the Tower or Patrol.
I ain’t got much else to say. I just felt like making a post about my clan’s 9 year anniversary. How old is your clan? 🤔

I made my clan, the Vault of -blam!-, in D1 y1. You know, the Vault of -blam!-, which was apparently uttered on a live stream by a Bungie employee? Unfortunately, some wise guys thought it would be hilarious to report our clan name multiple times. The name got stuck as a bunch of numbers, and I somehow got removed from my status as clan founder. So I had no choice but to remake it... as a censored version of the name. The Vault of As is now going on 5ish years strong.

2 通の返信Thats fun, congratulations. Hope your clan goes another nine years. My real clan lasted for two years in d1 and then died. I tried to join another clan recently but it didnt work out. Probably wont bother anymore. Destiny is better with a clan though.

That's a long time. I'm in the Mythic Members clan. Mythic Members is a group that goes back to when this site looked very different and we had member titles based on account age and behaviour. The group is 16 years old but the clan wasnt created until roughly 7 years ago. I've barely played the game so can't say I've been active in it though - but the name brings back memories.
