Conspiracy Theory: Bungie Is Sabotaging D2
In my opinion, Bungo is purposely sabotaging D2 in a ditch effort to work on other projects. D2 is just financing a new game endeavor for Bungie. I'm done with Bungo, so many misleading and deceptive business tactics. I'm just tired of the same old lies Bungie.

The game is terribly laggy, is infested with glitches and bugs, many core components of it are literally crashing and burning. Gambit has been dead for years, even though it’s supposed to be a core playlist. PvP is filled with invisible weapons and players, and even then it’s horribly unbalanced. PvE is grindy, unenjoyable, and the power fantasy is gone, considering even the lowest tiers of enemies are bullet sponges. Every damn encounter requires raid mechanics. Like the first Echoes mission. They literally incorporated a GotD mechanic with the whole “line up and shoot” thing. The game is so bad at this point, and I don’t see Bungie letting it get this bad unless it was on purpose. Edit: If Bungie thinks coming out with D3 will change things, they’re sadly mistaken. I will never get another game from this developer seeing how this one has gone, and I won’t go spend hundreds of dollars for them to re-sell us old gear we earned.

1 返信I've thought this before too. It seems ridiculous but they've done so many things over the years just seems so stupid. My final straw was dual destiny. I refunded TFS and stopped playing the week after. It's funny to me that the first time they introduced exotic class items it was also highly controversial and they did the exact same thing again.

IMO this is why the base game was a mess. The only difference is that Sony owns their... and they can't get them to leave as they did with Activision. This developer should be removed from all projects because who's to say they won't do this again or how often they will when they want out of a project?

1 返信They don’t need to sabotage it. The game is already a complete disaster to begin with! 🤣🤣🤣 This is what happens when the devs making this game have no clue what they are doing. They just don’t know how to make videogames. Some of them are not even real game developers. That’s what you get when people that make videogames are not real game developers. Progression in videogames should at least feel organic. It means the flow should feel as natural as possible as you progress throughout the game. If there is a powercreep occurring in a game, that is a poorly designed game. That’s what happened here. Because you have people that are not real game developers making this empty and dead game. It’s a disaster! 🤣🤣🤣 Absolute Disaster!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Absolutely nothing here but a shamble mess of shallowness!

1 返信New games generate new revenue and drive growth. If D2 PVP was awesome, why would anyone migrate to their new PVP game? So ya, they probably aren't deliberately sabotaging it, but they aren't trying to make it good.

1 返信That is ridiculously stupid, and insulting to the hundreds and hundreds of people who worked hard on making a great game. It has flaws. Of course it does, it’s a project of massive scale. It is bound to run into problems. Using this forum to complain about those problems is fine. But reactionary conspiracy bullshit is childish. They are clearly trying to make the game as quality as they possibly can.

The lady that quit used the fake reviews of TFS to leverage a job elsewhere, and I don't blame her. They weren't concerned about overspending on TFS because the board members that get canned by Sony will get their golden parachutes regardless. They know that Bungie has no hope of continuing, and they're just trying to get one last dig at the playerbase on the way out the door. That's why they codenamed everything after TFS as "payback". They're super pissy because people don't just accept their lackluster efforts anymore. As far as financing other efforts, I don't think you understand that the Sony contract means that if D2 doesn't meet promised expectations Bungie will be owned and controlled completely by Sony. Parson's next studio will be called "Stop Being Mean To Me"

8 通の返信I hope you realize that we are the very end of D2 it comes to a end in about 11 months However it is not the end of Destiny , but hopefully the end of the 20+ year old Game Engine that was created when cavemen roamed on the earth.
