I thought they lightened up the breach executable on expert. It doesn’t feel any different. They keep nerfing resistance but up the damage from combatants. Why am I watching my health and shield bar drop to a sliver from a massively sized blast from a combatant that never has to reload and can lob endless nukes in an open area without any obvious cover?
I do not understand why they keep nerfing our damage at a distance and use safety as a trade off meanwhile tanky enemies can run you down with mega blasts with no self damage, while you are trying to deal with a champion by yourself like…I am doing what you are asking me to do and you are punishing me for it. I do not understand. How do you think this is good? Whatever your logic is, it feels terrible.
So I will go back to stacking resilience and several methods of DR, forget “builds”, because it seems one method is not enough and the elemental defense mods don’t appear to work at all. I am running emergency reinforcement but you made it unreliable to get orbs now with all these hidden cooldowns, ugh, I hate this. This is not fun, I am not having fun from a good challenge, I am being asked to just die a lot until I get my piece of loot and a pinnacle drop in the wrong or repeat slot.
What are you doing? What did I get wrong?

I swear they have a new super called "clapping cheeks". I played against them in Gambit and the Shadow Legion....w.....t.....f!!! And I'll NEVER use Well of Radiance again. They have literally destroyed it. Just to push the new Prismatic super.

1 返信It’s limited builds and mandatory perks, not really build craft but meta focus. This gives the appearance of builds and power but really just lets you scrape by when they crank up enemy health and damage. Bungie flat out said they wanted to up difficulty without just turning health and damage numbers but that’s all they really did. Besides beneficial perks having cooldowns… I suppose that’s the mechanical change they alluded to? Games a joke. You can’t steam roll anything without some YT meta build guide. This isn’t build craft. It’s essentially relying on planned preset builds to be used by players by setting up the meta but allowing you to use substandard builds as punishment. Be a clone or pay for it. That’s crap design made by a crap studio who doesn’t want you to have fun.

1 返信Based on your description I can tell who hurt you…it was a Minotaur champion with void blaster. But I definitely see what you mean. I find myself wearing meta gear for most activities and it’s not fun not being able to switch it up.

7 通の返信Set framecap to 30 fps. TLDR, going above 30fps increases damage you take from non-hitscan weapons. It’s an engine issue that is too ingrained in the system to be removed. Some people have done rough tests and you take about 1.8x damage at 60fps, it’s inconsistent though.
I do not understand. How do you think this is good? Whatever your logic is, it feels terrible.
This is what happens when the devs making this game have no clue what they are doing. They just don’t know how to make videogames. Some of them are not even real game developers. That’s what you get when people that make videogames are not real game developers. Progression in videogames should at least feel organic. It means the flow should feel as natural as possible as you progress throughout the game. If there is a powercreep occurring in a game, that is a poorly designed game. That’s what happened here. Because you have people that are not real game developers making this empty and dead game. It’s a disaster! 🤣🤣🤣 Absolute Disaster!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Absolutely nothing here but a shamble mess of shallowness!

Part of the problem is Bungie's version of "balance". In their eyes, players being one-shot in PvE is perfectly fine. Players one-shotting the boss and having fun, oh we can't have that. We need to nerf basically everything in the game to deal almost no damage. We will try to cover it up by throwing in some buffs, but lets make them so miniscule that they basically make no impact at all. What a poor design choice that really needs to either change or have a whole new dev team put in its place.

10 通の返信Run a minimum 70 resilience (20% damage resist) and use the appropriate resist mods (If there’s a void threat run void resist etc) alongside a concussive dampener. It’s crazy wild how many people completely ignore how powerful resist mods are. And for healing run at least one recuperation mod on your legs and one powerful attraction mod on your class item to pick up orbs around you. So in other words, build craft better. Look up some guides if you want some more tips. There’s loads of good videos out there

5 通の返信Honestly, it might just be bugged. I just ran a few Expert Breach Executables with the same build, one after the other, and the first couple runs I think I died once or twice while the last one I was dying constantly. Wasn't really doing anything different and the enemies were using the same damage types (both Vex) but fairly inconsistent. Could be that I was just getting tired though, but I wonder if there is some sort of issue that could be tested for.

3 通の返信Were you in the activity from start or joined in progress? In my (anecdotal) experience there's something wrong when joining in progress.
