The Shining / Doctor sleep [/quote] I don't know how you can be a fan of the original and of the sequel that doesn't give respect to the one before it. Like I agree with the first ones, Blade Runner and Alien especially (haven't seen the Shining, sry) those are fantastic films but 2049 and Prometheus were such disappointments. Although I do enjoy Prometheus more now as Alien Covenant was god awful.

I actually genuinely don’t know. Luca is probably number 1, both Frozen Movies & Encanto are somewhere in there, and we’ll probably slip in Howl’s Moving Castle & Ponyo. Steven Universe Movie is pretty great if that counts. That’s only 7, though, and outside of Luca being number one I don’t know how I’d order the rest. If I’m ever watching TV I usually choose TV shows over movies, personally.

3 通の返信The Young Lions Ben Hur - Charlton Heston Full Metal Jacket - best depiction of basic training, if you ignore the performance by Vincent D'Onofrio, which is totally cringe. Silent Running Black Hawk Down Star Wars - if you saw it when it first came out. Shane Sin City Mash West Side Story Could make many "Best Ten" movie lists. First real movie I saw was Moby -blam!- in 1956 so I've seen a ton of movies.

1 返信i liked uh uh 1. once upon a time in america (1984) 2. lawrence of arabia 3. the first robocop movie was pretty good i guess 4. i kinda liked fritz lang's M a lot but the ending was odd 5. paths of glory is pretty good, so's all quiet on the western front, idk. 6. heat, thief, collateral, really anything from the miami vice guy 7. the good the bad and the ugly, really gave john ford a run for his money on no-budget. 10/10 8. probably a 40-way tie between the actually well-made jackie chan movies. project A is really good. 9. kurosawa films are pretty great. i liked stray dog a lot, but seven samurai is obviously the top spot. 10. john carpenter films in general. best one is probably big trouble in little china. honorable mentions francis ford coppola's movies like godfather apocalypse now and the conversation are all extremely well done. anything out of martin scorsese or john woo is watchable at worst. the arnold schwarzenegger conan the barbarian is surprisingly great hunt for red october and die hard are both pretty great sonatine was really good best movie of 21st century is probably the 'lol limewire you are a pirate' animation loop
