From a story perspective this first Act of the first Episode was absolutely a disappointment.
I think both activities we got are fun, though I would’ve liked more variation in Enigma Protocol.
Also the Nessus destination not updating is weird, hopefully that happens in a future Act.

The destination needed a new public event, maybe involving the vex milk guizers. The activitys have been hit and miss for me, Breach is -blam!- boring but Enigma Protocol would be a slam duck if it worked like Coil did. One is fun, the other is not but both are not rewarding. The 2 missions we have gotten were epic but I would of loved 1 more. As for the first impressions of a "new" content delivery model, this just feels like seasons with more timegates and less quality. Like they are going for quantity over quality as we will get a new activity with Acts 2 and 3. I would rather them cook up 2 amazing activities then 4 mediocre ones

I just hope that this is the same expansion release issues seasons had and Episodes 2-3 are a bit meatier. If it is the case, it’ll be absolutely unacceptable moving forward since we now only have 3 releases a year and shouldn’t be paying the same price for one that is objectively inferior.

I understand that Nessus is a fairly large planetoid and technically this could have been a different area, particularly as Failsafe stated that Saint-14 landed around the anomaly impact site, (which is completely across the map from the Cistern) but when looking at it, this clearly is meant to invoke to the player that Nessus is changing right in front of us to something new. Especially as Ikora does state that it is actively morphing, it is disappointing that the area is unchanged when we go back to explore. I agree that it should be changing with the story, and though I will miss the old "fishing hole" it is certainly a better way to do things in a dynamic world. Lets hope Act 2 opens with a new Nessus location, or at least one that is changed part-way to show the new style.
