Season of Arrivals - Drifter's map icon starts flashing constantly after I reach rank 3, whether I have anything to collect from him or not. Ever since then, whenever I'm in the tower, there's a floating blinking diamond that's always in the periphery, telling me to go visit Drifter for no reason I've ever been able to discern. I've never determined why... nor has Bungie. 30th Anniversary Event - Xur starts doing the same in his Treasure Hoard, because I've reached Rank 17 for the vendor, and have never been able to reset my rank (and why would I? There are no rewards from Xur in Dares since that finished - what is the point of having him there, other than to groom the starhorse?) A floating diamond direction indicator appears when I'm in the empty Dares grounds or in the lobby of the treasure hoard. Promises are later made that I can re-set my rank with Xur, but I've never been able to do so. The Final Shape - Ikora's icon in the Tower map and the Quests tab both start flashing, because the new Transcendent subclass hasn't been properly integrated, nor has Xur's buff. New aspects and fragments are clearly linked to Ikora somehow, but none of them appear on screen to be claimed/marked-as-viewed (thus setting off the indicator that she needs attention) and the Xur buff has been put in your Pursuits section in the app as if it's a bounty that doesn't auto-complete, and isn't visible in game (so the Quest tab will keep flashing until you can find some way of claiming/marking-as-viewed - something you can not do in the app). In addition... the item in your inventory that tracks engrams held at vendors hasn't been updated to show Final Shape vendors, making it far less useful as a tool; to check your progress in the new pathfinder you have to load two more screens than before, making it MORE time consuming than the old quest system. After 4 years of either getting no response to posts about this, being told to re-install the game (didn't work), or getting empty promises about it being looked into, now it seems Bungie is set on making the problem worse through the philosophy of "oh, lets just put this s**t here" game design. My guess is, the problem is something baked deeply into the game's navigation system, and doing anything to fix it will just make things worse. Besides, it seems a bit comically late to start fixing it now - to me, it's part of the charm of the game. The only improvement Bungie could make that would satisfy me is to put a blinking direction marker in every location in the game (which leads to a location that brings up "just f**king with you, guardian" in your HUD), and adding a tab for "random s**t" they can dump new items into. And a random Klaxon - not for any reason, other than to add to the confusion. "Will this be fixed anytime soon?" Will it f**k...

Mine is always flashing too, it often happens after I visit XUR and buy stuff my Drifter icon is also always flashing, even after reset.......HORRIBLE.

Same here, as well as some vendors that has nothing more to give or say.

Yeah. Makes me want to uninstall the game entirely until it gets fixed. making my ADHD, OCD, and ADD go crazy... which makes my TOURETTES go crazy... which makes me unable to play the damn game.
