Wtf. Hacked.
So apparently i was hacked.. my clan disbanned and my account then was attempted to be sold back to me and if I didn't then the account would be deleted..
I had dual authentication and all these steps to ensure safety and someone just hacked it, stole it, tried to sell it back to me and then -blam!- me over.
To be very clear, I have never given my log in to anyone, ever. Wish there was something else to do but, I just can't see putting in all that time to gain all those wepaons back etc..
Again, I’d like to know how someone got access to my account without the duel authentication?

1 返信Someone might have access to your email that you connected it to. I'd change any and all passwords you have if you didn't already. If the email is compromised time to make a new one.

2 通の返信Since starting Destiny have you tossed, sold or gifted any old computers or consoles without performing a full factory reset/memory wipe? If so were any such computers/consoles set to automatically log in to the relevant service when powered on? If so then that could explain how somebody gained account access despite having 2FA enabled. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

Someone else’s phone, laptop, etc.? Are you on console? Sometimes these issues come from a security breach on the platform service itself (i.e. Xbox Live, PSN)

This situation you described is common amongst ‘paid carries’ and ‘booster’ paid services. NEVER LET A THIRD PARTY GAIN ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT!!! 👈 Report situation to BHQ…as there may be other extenuating circumstances at play…but, be proactive, protect your online information…reboot ALL PASSWORDS ASAP 👈👈 Get a VpN 👈 Start a fresh gaming a/c. Make it very different to your (possibly) ‘hacked’ a/c…and move on. ************************************************** Experienced something similar with my (then) young son’s Destiny a/c many moons ago…it’s as inexplicable today as it was back then…and that (possibly) ‘hacked’ a/c is still ‘live’…🧐 Hope this helps!
