The currency economy feels awful.
I'm not here to say wah I miss my legendary shards cause I could care less I lost 20k. My concern is there's no way to outright buy prisms and cores, it's only exchange. I believe we should have a weekly limit on prisms and cores to outright buy with just glimmer. The current economy just doesn't feel right. I don't wanna waste my cores on prisms just to be like oh now I need cores and vice versa. I know you can get them from ritual activities, that's not what this post is about though.

5 通の返信Funniest thing is you can't even properly and reliably farm mats at the rate that would make sense. I'm sorry but 1 prism every 15min game and 1 alloy avery 5-6 of those games doesn't really do the trick.

9 通の返信I had a fortune of shards I could spend away whenever I needed Glimmer. Now I have to go do BS whenever I need Glimmer, which has a cap. So a lot of the time my Glimmer is stuck at 500k.

3 通の返信Grinding the same activities over and over an excruciating amount of times so that I can earn a single ascendant shard has never been fun. Even if it costed an insane amount of glimmer for cores or prisms I would absolutely support this

Maybe I'm alone in this but I'm actually enjoying this simplified version. I play a lot of pvp and I get tons of prisms. And since I can now enhance a lot of my non crafted godrolls, I have a reason to use the ascendant alloys. On top of being able to get em from rahool, I can do a couple comp matches and get even more. And shax rank ups. All while I'm raking in strange coins for xur. But everyone's got different opinions. Sunslingerにより編集済み: 6/21/2024 3:45:30 AMThe best way I've found to get cores is to just loot chests in your patrol zone of choice. It's even faster than stopping for the odd public event. I had like 28 gunsmith engrams after like an hour. That's a little faster than a lucky pathfinder clear.

2 通の返信I would agree. 1 prism for 10 shards, and then vice versa. Seems silly. Bring back Spider’s wares; he sold cores for glimmer. But Bungie got rid of him because “nobody utilized his services”

What's worse is killing some yellow bar or pair of yellow bars or ultras and getting a loot chest to drop. And then opening the big, heavy, magical, shiny treasure chest to get... ...600 glimmer. I mean thanks Bungie. Generous.

1 返信Every piece of non masterworked legendary gear you dismantle should drop one core at least now since that seems to be one of the main currencies for everything

6 通の返信So..... (sidebar)......is the situation that you might possibly be able to "care less" about your topic matter? If so, in what way? I mean.....ways to convert / cash your shards into cores were repeatedly offered......so there is no "loss". Also, it looks like you answered your own question by stating, "I know you can get them from ritual activities." The economy in-game is something like real life wealth - it never disappears, it just shifts.
