Pathfinders asking me to kill enemies in crucible with abilities, but each kill is only worth like 1%. Pathfinder asks me to bank motes in gambit, except banking 15 motes only gives 2% progress. Am I getting this right?
I had another objective the other day to kill taken in strikes.
Of course, all that means is queue for strike and leave if its not The Corrupted
Please just go back to bounties, don't even try and make the pathfinder work.

1 返信it's a time sink. it says 'Bank Motes. 0/100'. i thought that meant straight up, put 100 motes in the bank. not a percentage. but no 20 motes is only 4 motes? 5 motes is only 1 mote. i'll need to bank 500 motes? i'm not going to play that much gambit, ever. its an awful activity. i was willing to suffer a few games, not 500 motes. quit wasting my time; or say what you mean to say, bungie. # delete gambit. (seriously)

1 返信Haven’t completed a pathfinder yet in ritual activity because I have gambit and pvp. Thought I would give it a go this week. I have a path completed. All I need is either solar ignition kills in gambit or weakened or suppressed kills in gambit. I thought easy. Threw tether in a mob with no progress. Ok, let’s try sunshot and avalanche with incandescent. No progress. Guess I have another week of no ritual pathfinder.

2 通の返信I had to get scorched kills in vanguard, but after 6 "strikes" it never registered a single percent, even though I only use solar builds on my characters. Strangely enough, I managed to get get 6 percent on another node for killing enemies that had been jolted by arc. How's that work??? 🤷♂️

1 返信They could either fix this by either: -Splitting the pathfinder for ritual stuff into the three sections, like everyone says; -Instead of splitting them if they reaaaaaally don't wanna do that, just give people the option to randomly swap a new node in for glimmer, because the fact that people just won't engage with this system(and for good reason!) because the nodes for a given week both stink and can't be swapped for potentially more feasible ones unless you... complete the stinky node anyways is just silly. Oh, for those of you wondering: the "bank the most motes and win to autocomplete" node for Gambit is very literal; you need to win and have the most motes banked. For the whole match. As in you need to have banked more motes than your team *and* your opponents. I wonder if Bungie playtested that node by running warlocks with The Enigma and Karnstein Armlets exclusively, because that's how I got consistently the most motes banked. ...don't forget to actually *play* Gambit after getting that Half-Banked medal, kiddos.

4 通の返信Soon as I saw the two nodes needed to complete the line being crucible and gambit I clicked off pathfinder and never looked at it again. Nothing in either of those modes interest me enough to complete them though it is IB this week so I might get a few done without knowing while pottering around on that.

The Pathfinder system is definitely the brain-baby of some brainrotted dev obsessed with metrics. It will likely be held onto and allowed to burn off as much good will that they earned from the campaign and raid as possible before they give it up.

Considering I'm not really a pvp player and I hate and I mean hate gambit , once I saw how slow progress was I just lost interest and stopped trying for it. I don't understand the forcing of players into playlist they have no interest in, why wasn't there a selector for vanguard/gambit/crucible paths to take. I mean the Pathfinder node is located in the vanguard screen for Christ sake but has gambit/crucible requirements. The only logical reason I can come to is Bungie is forcing players into these play list to try to bring down matchmaking times for the players that actually want to play them. If you want players to take part in activities they have no interest in for loot then make it a quick jump in jump out requirements that way people are more inclined to take part. Don't make people slog it out or they will loose interest and just don't take part at all

Yup, that gambit banking one sucks. It’s like the value of the blocker not the amount banked!!! Super multi-kills count better for the crucible ability kills. Think I averaged 10 points a game in PvP (😔) so had to play 10 games so I could finish my pathfinder. Fricking sucked that those two were at the top. Would have taken me like 25 gambit matches vs 10 PvP matches ☠️

1 返信I don’t know if anyone else experienced this but I achieved the most motes banked and our team one and it did not autocomplete the path finder objective for Gambit. So, it’s bugged in more ways than one.

I reported this issue (banked 44 motes and sent 2 large blockers and the node only progressed 8%) to Bungie last week, as did many others under my post, and was told Bungie would look into it. Never heard a resolution. I also dislike Gambit very much but willing to do it if it works properly. Just a shite show right now with Bungie.

Pathfinder could work to be honestly as the Pale Heart one is somewhat decent to do. The fact they threw all 3 of the base activities into it in a way to get players to play PvP and Gambit however is beyond stupid when they could have just done one for each of the activities. I know some people would not like to hear this, but how has Sony not taken over already? If we get stupid decisions like these, we need to people in charge.

It also says it autcompletes if you are the top banker on the winning team but that's not true. I was the top banker with 45 on the winning team and it gave me 8%. Considering it's the last node before the reward and the other option is crucible ability kills....
