Thanks for reaching out!
If you haven’t acquired all of the Encryption Bits yet, make sure you’ve collected all region chests in the Pale Heart and searched all of the rubble piles in the Cyst activities.
Please note, there’s a known issue where the triumphs for opening the region chests and searching the rubble piles might be marked as completed before you’ve actually met the intended requirements. So, it’s recommended that you re-run all of the Cyst activities and double-check every rubble pile.
After you’ve interacted with all the intended chests and rubble piles, you should receive the Lost Encryption Code, regardless of the number of bits that have appeared in your inventory.
Please note that we are also investigating an issue where players were unable to receive an encryption bit due to having a full inventory:

@BNGHelp5 Please see that others are still experiencing this issue. I have rerun all Cyst activities, visited every spot I picked up the bit from the rubble pile, revisited all chests as well. There is NOTHING I can do any further to get the last bit. Everyone in PVP is running around with a gun I can't get because of an obvious game glitch that multiple people are having and you won't even update us that you're looking into it? Please update us ASAP. I'd be willing to clear all the bits and reset and do all the missions again, as I've already done them 15 times each in trying to fix this glitch. What is being done?

I did everything you just suggested (as did the guy you replied to with this). It’s not giving us the last lost encryption bit. No one wants to do the same activities like this when it’s clearly not working. I’m in the same boat. I’ve done all cysts numerous times and checked. Nothing to scan. All region boxes unlocked. I literally did them all as the guy here did too. It’s not working.

DiscombobulatedPandaにより編集済み: 6/19/2024 5:53:29 PMI've tried running the Cysts missions repeatedly, and either the Scrap Piles aren't their or the knights won't drop a sword allowing me to break the Hive "fungus" to see if the pile is behind it. I'm stuck, after three weeks, at 14 encryption bits. My Triumphs show that I've completed every necessary step to acquire the Khvostov. And Bungie expects me to continue to waste time trying to complete the missions again, and again. Please respect the time I've already committed to accomplishing a quest that I've, really, completed.

I have searched all six rubble piles and opened all nine chests. Unfortunately, somewhere in this process, my inventory's last slot was filled by another chest's memory vestige. And it seems once my inventory was full, I no longer received Lost Encryption Bits. The pop-up for receiving the item happened, but no bit went into my inventory. So now I have ... 10. I have re-run every cyst, both on my original character and an alternate class. I have done this alone, and I have done this with another player who had not found the rubble piles. I have checked each of the nine chest locations again, despite them having disappeared from my map. I saw 15 pop-ups, but have 10 Bits. I have the exotic mote of light item for placing all traveler collectables, and 10 bits. Also, of note, I am now a bit sad. I suspect these are related.

@Bungie. I am in the same boat as the rest of these folks where I cannot get that 15th encryption bit. 2 teammates and I ran thru all the Alone in the Dark quests again, and all of the locations no longer have rubble piles. I have rerun all the cyst missions via the etheral eagles outside of the Alone in the Dark multiple times to no avail. I have all the region chests as well. I was with one teammate when we acquired the first encryption key as he was the first to grab it. So not sure if that may have been the issue or not. So far this is feeling like an exercise in futility.😬😬. Aside from this issue, the game is awesome!! Please advise: DR
