My hope is that the current exotic class items stay as they are and they take this feedback into account for the next ones
The next ones will have completly different first and second perks from other exotics for the most part +a third collom of perks but with this third set there are trade offs
The stronger the perk the stronger the trade off is like you gain stompees movment boosts but you get -40 modility
This would mean you would either use a normal exotic, use one of the current exotic class items without trade offs, use a weaker third perk for less trade off or build into the trade out to try and counter it..
The trade off is usually related to it's boost in some way
How we get them is also different maybe it's part of a revisit to menagerie with some of the fallen raiding it and you have another 12 activity
Visually the hunters get tanikes cloak once again, warlocks get an exo/vex themed arm band that replaces their left arm from the band down, titans get a tacticool military belt with a bunch of loot and ammo attached to it like trinkets just a handful of things broken cabal blade, amandas scarf, broken speakers mask, crows old mask etc
The way they introduce that third perk is very important you don't want to make the current exotics useless and maybe you could have a way to just disable the third perk with it granting you a boost instead like that -40 mobility becomes +40 when the perk is inactive
Yeah because when they release the next exotic class items, whoever design needs is just magically going to find artistic talent. Magic is only in D2, not real life, lol.
