This not me siding with one or the other, I just want to see the numbers, because lets all be adults here, a vast majority of players do not do raids/endgame content. So I am curious, is this mission (a non end game mission) on par with raids and Dungeons. I want to see the numbers, this is what I find interesting out of this entire sh*tshow. To see how many people actually did the mission.

2 通の返信Don’t get why people play the game if y’all aren’t gonna touch endgame lmao defeats the purpose of leveling and y’all can argue that all you want it makes no sense

2 通の返信I main khepris Horn, the class item does nothing for changing the tempo of my gameplay. I’d rather keep the solar kill barricade regen portion of Khepris Horn perk.

an engram full of beesにより編集済み: 6/17/2024 3:28:40 PMCharlemagne lists the “Fool Me Once” (complete Dual Destiny) triumph as having a 3% completion rate. It doesn’t show exact player numbers, but the D2 concurrent player number is sitting at around 316,000 So about 30,000 people based off of that. The data from Charlemagne isn’t always accurate, but for comparison, the Salvation’s Edge triumph is listed as having a 1.8% completion rate.

2 通の返信Beat the campaign plus most post campaign content (except the raid) and loved it, but havent even bothered with dual destiny. Got pretty frustrated and swapped to another game for a while and will see if things change. Still watching forums and updates in the hope there will be a solo-friendly method of getting the class items at some point- I'll come back then Class items look super fun and all but that mission looks like a frustrating time sink and lfg nightmare to me as a solo player with no mic. My take overall is that its just not an activity that was designed for most people to be able to complete. Complex and imaginative missions are cool and glad bungie is experimenting, but I do wish they hadn't locked such an essential piece of prismatic behind a mission that so many folks won't ever complete.

3 通の返信i think the biggest turn off is how much of a pain it is to actually get the roll you want, i don’t have an issue with the mission or completing it, i LFGd for it yesterday and quite literally spent 45 minutes just chilling with a dude and got all the mechanics down pretty easy. i just don’t wanna run the same mission 50 times to get the cloak i want, especially when stompers aren’t coming off in pvp anyway.

5 通の返信I wouldn’t compare to raids because those are one of the only activities the solo/silent group won’t do. You can do almost everything else without talking to people. Although I have run a couple successful raids where I said a max of 10 words or less because the lfg people were insufferable and I had no interest in conversing with them. But they were competent and I wanted the completion 😂

About like the other "hardcore" activities by the same "hardcore" players. I haven't been bothered chasing the public events to start it yet.

5 通の返信Weren’t the quests in Destiny 1 from the factions to unlock exotic class armor way worse than this mission?

3 通の返信It just came out, and mister big shot is demanding on a Friday to see the completion rate Clown

It’s a lot easier than a dungeon. Once you learn the mechanics (watching a vid and practice once over), it’s actually a breeze. Surprisingly a breeze. Clocks were a bit annoying, but fine once it makes sense. You don’t even need top-tier gear. You can get to the boss with a crazy amount of time left. Top-tier players must be smashing this ridiculously fast.

25 通の返信Per bray.tech 13.92% of players have claimed the Fool Me Once… Triumph. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

Be careful using completion numbers to make an assessment as they are very misleading and misrepresentative, depending on your source. You can find hilarious numbers for many very basic and easy Triumphs and achievements that indicate that many players simply don’t make it far enough in the game for them to even count as a valid sample for this measurement. Also consider the fact that this mission is a thoroughly hidden mission and many players are still working through the campaign + post-campaign and avoiding most online discussion. Given it’s only been a week and all the other factors above, completion rates at present are a vast underestimation of the accessibility of this mission. Check back in a month or so and I’m sure nearly all of the currently active playerbase will have completed this mission, despite the incessant whining, unless they provide an easier way for people to unlock the exotic class items.

4 通の返信Honestly I'd just like to see a lot of numbers directly from bungie in general. Most of the sites that track those have a hard time sifting through the absolutely insane amount of bot/alt/dead accounts and getting a clear picture of anything from the data Is awful.
