Because there’s no controversy. If you can’t spend 30 mins to use a mic/text for a mission that only has to be done ONCE, then you don’t deserve the exotic. Point blank period
You can go right back to playing solo afterwards and still get the exotic to drop
And I’m saying this as a solo player myself. Call me an elitist all you want, idgaf. This is the biggest overreaction I’ve ever seen on the forums, and I’ve been here since d1 beta, so I’ve seen a lot lol

Yep I have to agree with you on the bottom statement. I’m primarily a solo player and have the same problems a lot of the other people shove down everyone’s Ned throats at every opportunity. after seeing the mission decided “oh well” and got on with my life.
This whole situation has got so pathetic and it’s only been two days.
Also I’m so bored of seeing people saying “I’ve got anxiety”. No, you have social anxiety. You can’t just have anxiety, you have to be anxious about something. Saying “I have anxiety” just means that you’re attention seeking. Social anxiety on the other hand actually means something
Thing is I have social anxiety and yet through meditation I manage to interact online at least so they do have a potential way forward.
If you have a issue try looking for ways to mitigate or cope don't just sit there doing nothing about it.
Yeah when I left my clan years ago I still managed to do some raiding with strangers. Sure, I had to build myself up to do it but social anxiety is something that you can work around if you put the effort in
